Something similar happened to me. The cop made me get out of the car and put my keys on the hood. Then she took them and told me to sign the ticket or I could not have my keys back. So, I signed it and put (under duress). On the court date, the judge SCREAMED at me for doing that.

Not Ohio State Troopers. They are trained that there are no exceptions. Everybody gets a ticket

I recall when Lebron James was caught by the State Highway Patrol on radar doing 101 in a 65 mph zone on I-71 at 2:30 in the morning of his birthday a year or two ago. He tried to get off, with an expensive lawyer and pleading not guilty. The trooper had him on video. He ended up paying a fine of 259 dollars and court costs. Stateys don't fart around.

In the past 10 to 15 years, I've seen a shift in driving patterns. It is now women who are the more aggressive drivers, speeding, tailgating, making dangerous lane changes, etc.

The troopers on the interstate will give you 65 in a 55 zone(except for construction) and 75 in a 65 zone(maybe 80 but that's pushing your luck.) That includes the Turnpike. Been driving Ohio interstates all the time since 1978. State Patrol have been pretty consistent the whole time.
