The research aircraft “Polar 5” today concluded its Arctic expedition in Canada. During the flight, researchers measured the current ice thickness at the North Pole and in areas that have never before been surveyed. The result: The sea-ice in the surveyed areas is apparently thicker than scientists had suspected.

Normally, newly formed ice measures some two meters in thickness after two years. “Here, we measured ice thickness up to four meters,” said a spokesperson for Bremerhaven’s Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research. At present, this result contradicts the warming of the sea water, according to the scientists.

But, but, but the Goracle promised the world was ending due to glow-bull warming. Surely he wouldn’t lie to the people.

Its a dupe but at least the linked source is in English, and therefore of use to non-German readers.

What you fail to realize is an increase in thichness of Artic ice is a classic sign of global warming. After all, Algore is a Nobel Prize winner and he says the science is settled.

I don’t understand. Al said that in five years, there would be no ice on the north pole. Global Warming has a lot of work to do in the next five years.

After all, Algore is a Nobel Prize winner...

True.
but, A. "Peace in Our Time" Hitler, Jimmah "Malaise" Carter
& "Screamin' Man Love" Arafat, won the prize, too.

Algore on the subject will spin it this way:

"What, the ice is twice as thick?" See, I told you we have a problem...that means it will melt twice as fast!"

Yep, that is the way the liberal global warming fear mongers think...they will turn this around to suit their scare tactics, just as they do every other fact that discounts their theories.
