Hi everyone,
I'd like to ask for a strong, ongoing prayer for my friend's son, about to turn 18, and a new Marine. He will likely be heading to Afghanistan in a couple of months as a rifleman.
His family and friends are incredibly proud of this wonderful young man, whom I've known since he was 2.
Please keep him, his family and his unit in your prayers. Thank you.
I sure will. Thank you for your service.
DEAR LORD,
please protect all our service men and women. Grant them all the strenght and power to protect us from all enemies foreign and domestic. Bless the families of these troops, ease their worries, touch their hearts and bring their children home safe to their families loving embrace...IN OUR FATHER’S NAME....AMEN.
Prayers up little brother!
Say, my son graduated from MCRD San Diego on 16 January. He is currently assigned to the 3rd Battalion/1st Marines at Camp Pendleton and anticipating deployment later this year. Where is this young man and what is his MOS?
Oh, BTW the missus and I pray for all our Marines every day. Welcome to the Marine family.
Ephesians 6:11,17 “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”
May God protect this young Marine and all our Troops from harm. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.
I’ll remember him in my prayers.
I know there are many legitimate reasons to be reluctant about revealing personal information online, but could you tell us the Marine’s first name? It would be nice to know while praying.
Prayers sent.
I will definitely pray for him. I remember how proud I was when my son went in, also at 18, but also how scared I was when he went to Afghanistan. I’m sure my prayers as well as the prayers of all my friends and family saw him and me through this. I have a soft spot in my heart for all of our military and their families.
Praying for this new Marine and his family.
Praying always for all our military.
Our eyes are lifted to You---our Strength, our Shield, our Stronghold. You are our Sovereign and Mighty God. We commit to You this young Marine who has chosen to serve this beloved nation, Father, and we ask that You give Your Holy Angels charge over him as he carries out his duties, no matter where they are. During this time of service, may he grow in grace and in knowledge of You, Lord God. May he be a powerful witness of Your love and may his faith and trust in You grow with each passing day. Make him an instrument of Your peace, and may Your hand never leave him. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Prayers on the way!

thanks, murron...
Is your son still over there?
best...
No, he’s back at Camp Lejeune.
Thanks so much ... I’m more of a Marine friend. :-)
I, too, pray for them daily. (And pinging my son, Andy’s friend)
Thanks...
