This extraordinary X-ray shows how 27-year-old Anthony Liu was brutally murdered with a nail gun.
Up to 30 nails were fired into his head, the three-inch spikes penetrating vital areas of the brain.
Police in Sydney have released the graphic photo in the hope that it will lead to the identity of Mr Liu's killer.
Someone, they believe, has information about the murderer who will have had a grudge against the dead man - and be in possession of a nail gun.

The truly nailed it
No it’s a firey pink left-handed hammer!
I hope they nail the guy that did this!
Beyond the snark, this is a good lesson about “gun control” in the UK. Point is, taking away guns from law-abiding citizens will NOT reduce the murder rate. Criminals will either get firearms, or will substitute things like nail guns and blunt instruments. Point is, LAWS DON’T KEEP CRIMINALS FROM COMMITTING CRIMES. They’re CRIMINALS. Proscecution and execution of murderers has been PROVEN to reduce the murder rate. That, and and armed citizenry. What’s the murder rate in Switzerland?
Sorry, I meant Australia instead of the UK. So what, same difference. Both are gun-grabbing crapholes that used to be great countries.
I understand the American Congress has reacted swiftly and decisively. They proposed legislation requiring that each "nail" intended for use in domestically manufactured nail guns be chemically etched or otherwise inscribed with the following information:
Manufactures Name
Address (no Post Office Boxes allowed)
Federal Tax ID Number
CEO's Name
Address (no Post Office Box allowed)
Date of manufacture
Nails that must be manually hammered into skulls are not currently affected by the proposed legislation. Some Congressman want further studies as they see this as a possible loophole around the proposed legislation.
In addition, a prohibition of all future sales of "semi-automatic" nail guns is proposed. Only single shot, manual loading nail guns approved by the governments Department of Weights and Measures are allowed. Hammers do not appear to be affected by the proposed legislation. Again, some Congressmen see this as a possible loophole.
One Congressman was quoted saying, we intend to nip this in the bud before it becomes epidemic. Another Congressman noted that he felt they had nailed down any possible further abuse with nail guns.
The President indicated he would sign the legislation after the obligatory five days notice on the Internet.
Talk about getting nailed.
When guns are outlawed, murderers get inventive!
