About the pit bull threads...
Okay, I am going to ease off on the pit bull threads. The Admin Moderator has not asked me to, nor have I been threatened with banishment. Nor am I persuaded by the threads devoted to bashing me for posting these stories.
I am just frankly getting tired of it myself. These attacks are basically unending, and it will only get much worse as school is out for Summer, and kids are around more, the temperatures rising, and what have you.
I will certainly still post these from time to time, or maybe I'll do one post that summarizes the day's worth of pit bull attacks, or post only once every few days when another child has not just been mauled but killed as well, but ignore the garden variety attacks. I just didn't want anyone to think that either (a) The mods pressured me to stop or ease off (they have not) or (b) The posts have slowed because the Pit Bulls have suddenly become as docile as their owners say they are.
Flame away as they say.

The very best thing that could happen is SWAT takin’ the
whole mess down in one strike,,,
Thug/Thug woman go to jail,,,(Crack house/puppy mill gone)
Kids get taken to a safe place out of that life,,,
Section 8/Welfare mess gone,,,
Owner will not be able to rent Section 8,,,
He has more than 1 house ,,,
Then there's this :

The house will most likely have to be torn down because of
the stink in there from raising all those litters inside,,,
They have to keep both front and back doors open most of
the time,,,
Even rite after heavy rain storms when all the krap in the
yard is washed away we can still smell it 30’ away in
the driveway when they open the doors...

Well it looks like you have covered all the bases. It is a real bitch that the government has let this crap go this far. I am all for freedom but with freedom comes personal responsibility and these fools have shown none.

As do I, and if you like them, you should oppose breed specific legislation as vigorously as any pit bull owner, because once "pit bulls" have been banned, they'll be coming after us.

How is the little guy doin’, btw?
He’s doing outstanding. Tomorrow he will be 10 1/2 months old.
He’s a perfit gentalman in the house and in my truck, and he’s a chick magnet...... oh if I were only single!! LOL
He loves people, especially the ladies. He loves kids and plays fair with them. He runs with them instead of after them. He’s ball crazy and loves competition attitudes. The harder one plays with him, the more he competes. We play with a sleeve with him and he has figured it out... on this we don’t play rough. ;>)
I have never had such a best friend. I once had a “once in a lifetime” Doberman for 14 years, but I think this guy is going to be even better.
His testicles never dropped, so I got half of my money back from the breeder. When he’s near 2 years old I will have them removed.
His hips quit bothering him and he is a very strong and fast running boy. That whining he does when he runs turned out to be his way of saying that he’s having a ball when he’s playing/chasing another dog.
There are times that I would think that he was slow to learn, then it became apparent that he was just trying to figure things out at his own speed.
He does well with all obedience commands, except the most important one, “here”... but I’m working on it.
He’s turing into a remarkably good looking dog, but at this point I wouldn’t care if he were ugly as sin, he’s my bud.
Today, he walked the boat-docks with me, so that I could get him ready to go out on my boat.
I am sure that this is corny to some folks, but he has become a guardian angel for me. He has helped me recover from some health issues and he has filled a large hole in my life....
I have loved every dog I have ever been blessed to spend time with, none so much as my Falco.
Today I bought 8 chicks and placed them in boxes within the house for now. He looked into the box and just watched them for a bit and then he laid down as though he was going to guard them.... ok, he might have been just waiting for me to leave the room, he does get raw chicken for dinner. LOL
Oh, and he seems to like my kind of music.... ;>)
As you may be able to tell.... I have found my Timber.
