Is that an English longbow, or a child’s model?
I think they were over 6’ long and had over a 100# pull weight. It took years of training to be able to shoot them well.

Hes a crusader for the people, trying to reclaim some of the ill-gotten gains of the wealthy. Thats a universal theme. And how did you acquire your wealth, Mr. Grazer?

It won’t be the same without the tights. And the aluminum swords.

“He doesn’t have the old Robin Hood tights,” producer Brian Grazer tells USA Today of the bandit’s updated wardrobe And in other news, General Francisco Franco is still dead.
What is it with directors? Don't they watch movies? Every one of them seems compelled to say "My Robin Hood will not be wearing tights." Tights have not been the Robin Hood fashion for a generation now.

Okay, fine, whatever ;-) IMHO there’s only ONE Robin Hood and that’s Errol Flynn. The rest are posers ... just as there’s only one Bond (Sean Connery).

Robin Hood was nothing more than a medieval Che Guevera. As for his "Merry Men", well, that speaks for itself. Homosexual bandits following an equally homosexual communist in tights in an effort to overthrow the government and claim all the land for himself and his homosexual buddies...with all claimed land belonging to his new self proclaimed government of homosexuals...who knew nothing about farming or raising cattle. All such land withered away due to neglect and Robin and his Merry Men ultimately died of HIV......
As for Maid Marion, she made the mistake of hooking up with Robin and ultimately died a virgin at the age of 47............
"And that is the rest of the story".......Good Day!

My prayers have been answered! Hallelujah!
Now if only he’d make another, say, twenty sequels to “Master and Commander” (one of my favorite movies, right up there with the Lord of the Rings), my cup would run over.
I love this man. Too bad he is such a jerk in real life.
