She didn’t have the hit with it though. Then again, maybe while she was writing it......

“For Judy Blue Eyes, life is a cabaret”

“The 1960s music icon put her magic touch on an evening of musical diversity.”

By JON BREAM, Star Tribune
Last update: April 7, 2009 - 6:13 AM

SNIPPET: “Collins, 69, let her hair down — her voluminous silver mane cascading to the middle of her back — compared to her previous more formal performances in Twin Cities theaters and concert halls. She is getting ready to take her club act to New York’s tony Cafe Carlyle for a six-week run starting April 21, and she was loose, familiar and political.

“You all know the ‘60s are on their way back; it’s new and improved,” Collins told a packed house. “I’m so proud of Obama. He signed on to my Twitter account.””

Also from wiki, the disease exhibits with a feeling that insects are crawling all over your body, and lesions on the body and also with psychotic symptoms in some cases.

It doesn’t sound like anything you’d wish on your worst enemy. Looks like it is treatable to a certain degree but not cureable.

lousy disease which is contagious and miserable. Conservatives are not like liberals who would wish this kind of thing on their enemies. We’re the compassionate ones. They are the haters. They’re shallowness is making itself evident with every word that comes out of their mouths these days.

Because her band for that tour consisted of Pat Metheny, Lyle Mays, and Jaco Pastorius.

you had me convinced until you got to the part about genetically modified food.

You see, unless they injected the food into the skin, I can’t see this as a cause. If the lesions were in a lot of organ systems, that would prove it was related to injestion. But so far I haven’t heard of reports of liver or other organs involved.

Agroacterium cause galls on plants so it might be a skin infection. If this is the cause it would be spread via the wind or by skin cremes or direct contact not food.(even GM food is washed before eaten).

But some of the stories are bizarre: And although I’ve never seen a Morgellen syndrome, I have had patients walk in with skin flakes in a jar claiming bugs and who have self mutilated themselves.

As for GM food: That is this years “evil technology that causes everything bad” idea of the week by the ecoweenies —you know, the type who scared Africa from accepting US food because it might be “contaminated”...never mind that the end result is people who starved to death.

I see GM as a way to feed poor people.

From my understanding of it, I think most dermatologists would argue that the second clause in your sentence above contradicts the first clause;)

Never liked her music one tiny bit. but I don’t hope anything bad happens to her and wish her peace if she is ill.

The talent and quality of a person is not defined by their political beliefs.

Yeah, riiiiiight.

Embarassing to see all the haters here.

And it's also embarrassing to see mindless liberal slogans co-opted by Freepers too.

“Night Ride Home” is one of my favorites too.

Joni is one of the top songwriters/musicians ever. She’s amazing on guitar, and her vocals are close to perfect on every song. There are very few around who can write songs as good as she can.

I just ignore her politics.
