The annual garden club show is this coming weekend, at the St. John's County Agriculture Center. Things are looking good up there, the volunteer crew is putting on the finishing touches. It's early, lot's more good stuff still to come. Only one Magnolia is in bloom now, it's a little tree, but it sure is trying hard!

Very good.

It would be nice if the flowers would start showing around here. About all I could shoot right now is moss. ;>)

Good Morning Swampsniper!

We have a 50 foot Magnolia in the front yard. I doesn’t start blooming until May. When it does bloom the entire street smells great. I’ll send you a picture.

Thanks for the ping.

Nice pix!

4” of snow on the ground at 8,000’ in the Colorado mountains this AM; everybody’s smiling - we need the moisture.

qb the credit for the pics goes our brilliant resident photographer SWAMPSNIPER. Get on his pinglist for some real treats like these.

Regarding your snowy day in Colorado, enjoy! I lived in a small mining town up the canyon from Boulder called Jamestown. I think the elevation was around 6 to 7000 feet. We got spring snow all the time. Beautiful!

One thing that works well in our “old age” is memories...I can close my eyes, imagine the scent, and smile.

Now there is a wave of the future...”smellography”! LOL
