The hostage drama has ended well with the escape/rescue of Capt. Richard Phillips. Kudos to all involved, especially his brave crew, Capt. Phillips and the rescue forces.

Mom is drifting in and out of consciousness. Dr. believes the CHF caused the pneumonia. Either way, no one heard her wheezing. She does not have the cognition to ask for help. That part of her thoughts disappeared months ago.

Thank you all so much for your prayers. Believe me, they are whats keeping me going!!! Nothing beats ATRW prayers!

Oh kassie. I'm so sorry.

We went to see Greg's mom yesterday. She was having a bad day. That seems to be happening much more often. :(

She must have been up most of the night because she was in bed at about 10:30 am. I did NOT like her coloring at all. She appeared gray-ish and her skin look transparent-like. It's hard to describe.

It was not easy finding someone to assist us.

Holidays are rough on patients. The regulars are usually not there.

Mom is wide awake now - slept for a good 26 hours. She is gray-ish also.

You’re right- regular help is home and stand-ins are working.

Kassie, Jemian and pb, Greg stopped in to see his mom on the way home from Albany. She seemed a little better, but agitated. He spoke to her regular nurse and she said that they are weaning her off an anti depressant and will try another.

I saw 3 bluebirds casing one of our bluebird houses out. ;-)

The bird scene has been pretty active here. Two blue bird pair are fighting over the same house and 3 pair of Martins have shown up. Would love for them all to stick around cause they all are insect eating birds. Spring Spring! My favorite time of the year.

She is better tonight, thanks for all the posts. She sounds a lot better and the doctor says she is not exacerbating with fluid build up at this time. Good news.
