President Obama won't throw the ceremonial first pitch before the Washington Nationals' home opener Monday.
According to a White House aide, Obama will decline the team's invitation to throw the pitch before the game against the Philadelphia Phillies, brushing back a presidential tradition that dates to 1910.

Hussein: disrespectin’ the national pastime.
Why not? He disrespects the rest of our national treasures: the Constitution, for instance.

Remember Bush throwing out the first pitch in the 2001 World Series? Awesome moment.

Maybe NASA can develop a specially designed baseball that pairs with Lamar Obamas limp-wristed throwing style

What an insult to American tradition!....What a wuss! He’d rather save himself for ballet dancing with Rahm!

I thought he was a pitcher, not a catcher.

Maybe he injured himself practicing so that he wouldn’t look like a limp-wristed girl.

I think John Kerry, feeling sorry for the kid who couldn't play ball with his dad, pulled him aside one day and taught him how to throw.

John taught him well. O's a chip off the old block.

To: keepitreal
PLus of course he can’t throw.

Wonder how the MSM is going to spin THIS one? President Obama, citing important cocktail party obligations, declined to throw out the home opener pitch at the Nationals' game this week. "Why would I drink beer and eat hot dogs, with low-class trash Americans, while I can have a light, yet fruitly subtle chardonnay and caviar with Rahm," said the President.

The Thin-skinned One is afraid, afraid hell be booed, afraid his carefully crafted image of athleticism will tumble to the ground like a limp-wristed flail of an opening pitch.Right you are! John Kerry would even snicker after witnessing the effete Obama throwing more like a sissy then he did!

He could do what many Presidents have done: Stand in his box near the Home dugout, and throw it 10 or 20 feet to one of the players standing just outside the dugout. No embarrassment possible, maybe.
If he wanted to.
BTW, Carter could never find the time to throw out the first pitch for U. S. Major League Baseball, but he DID find time to do so in CUBA in 2002!
