I saw a beautiful older woman in a made for TV movie about a woman with Altheimers (sp?). I had to know who she was and it was Bissett who is still very beautiful.
Don't know if anyone has mentioned "Jennifer Jones" yet. Classic beauty.

Read that Kelly was a tramp- made it a point to sleep with every leading man. That’s a turn-off, as far as I’m concerned.

One of my all time favorite movies too. Remember the part where he introduces her to his Italian mother (or was it his grandmother?) I always liked that part.
I read some bio stuff that had nothing to do with the movie that also said she was raped. I never knew that she denied it. I wonder. Thanks for telling me. Now I know it is questionable.

Remember when Hollywood leading men were handsome, sexy AND classy- unlike todays' 'stars' who slouch around with a four day beard stubble, clothes that look like they were retrieved from a dumpster, spouting anti-America retoric and four letter words? .

I’ve seen the claim elsewhere, too.
I don’t have a source, but I distinctly remember reading an interview not too long before she died where she said it never happened.
Possibly she’d said other things at other times.
Even just thinking about the latest stars, you would have to put Jennifer Connelly up there.
Also, I always thought it was a waste of a man when I learned that Rock Hudson was, as one would say, a little light in the loafers.
Same with Richard Chamberlain. Sigh. The beach scene in The Thorn Birds can't be beat, though.........
Maybe Burt Lancaster on the beach too. Classics.
