Vandal Damages Church, Leaves Dog To Die
POSTED: Sunday, April 5, 2009 JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The congregation at the Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church were challenged to show their forgiveness at Sunday services -- two days after vandals did thousands of dollars of damage to their place of worship.
Someone broke in through a plate glass window, sprayed graffiti on walls and damaged a piano.
The vandal entered with a pit bull and police believe both got hurt while inside because there was human and animal blood all over the church.
When church members discovered the vandalism, the dog was still inside. The dog died a short time later.
Police are still looking for whoever is responsible for causing the damage.
98% of pit bull owners give the rest of of them a bad name.

“Church Cleans Up After Destructive Vandalism”
Posted By: Ryan Duffy Created: 4/4/2009 7:03:17 PM Updated: 4/4/2009 11:28:44 PM
JACKSONVILLE, FL —
SNIPPET: “In addition, the person sprayed graffiti on walls, tore apart wallboard, damaged a piano and computer monitor and stole a laptop.”
SNIPPEYT: “If you have any information that can help police call our partners at First Coast Crime Stoppers. The number is 1-866-845-TIPS. You never have to leave your name and you could receive a cash reward.”
Strange stuff.
At first glance, I wondered if this break-in also involved some sort of twisted satanic ritual. The perp broke into a church, brought a dog with them, vandalized the place, human and animal blood were found all over the place, and the dying dog was left behind. I could be making too much of these facts, or have an over-active imagination, but it all sounds a bit odd.
Poor puppy.
Hopefully, the other team member is bleeding to death somewhere!
Believe Me, I wanted to hate this dog when I first found out about her. But she has proved me wrong at every turn! With Love , affection, a calm owner, lots of exercise and proper socialization they can be happy pets! I adore this girl and am so thankful she is there to keep my Mom company since our move to Georgia last year.
Perhaps a better distinction should be made of male/female Pit Bull headlines.

First Methodist Church in Burlington, Iowa, 2007.
Darn pitbulls, going around desecrating churches...At least we can all be comforted by the fact that it died slowly, probably painfully, and alone.
Wouldn’t surprise me.
That would be justice.
Could be; but people are cruel. If we would stand up and punish those that are; we would have a lot less.
It doesn’t say how the dog was injured. Left behind to die is very cruel.
“got hurt while inside because there was human and animal blood all over the church.”
This alone seems an understatement, never mind the revelation that the dog died. “Got hurt” - LOL. Was this some satanic thing?
“You never have to leave your name and you could receive a cash reward”
Sooo...you could be the perp who knows everything about what happened, and be rewarded additionally for informing?
Your constant posting of “pitbull owners are scum, and all pitbulls should be killed” is wearing rather thin.
It’s about as logical, deep, well-thought-out and intellectually accurate as someone posting “Chet99 is a doody-head”, with the difference that the second statement is at least partially true.
If you have nothing further than your constant insults to contribute to the discussion, why don’t you just act like an adult, and NOT join in.
I know pit owners whose dogs are better behaved in all situations than most people. I also know some folks who shouldn’t have a stuffed marmot for a pet, they are so inept in training their shi-tzu yaphound.
You have swallowed the kool-aid totally. I pity you in your ignorance.
