Welcome to the (I guess) official thread to the 73rd playing of the Masters Golf Tournament from the Augusta National Golf Club. Now the game that we love and it's season is now officially, let's see who will be walking the 18th fairway ready to slip the coveted green jacket on late Sunday afternoon.
We all know who's in the field. While I'm posting this thread early, we can discuss and predict who's going to win.

Good!! So there shouldn’t be any weather issues.
Tough for an older guy - over fifty - to hang in through four rounds. That’s why the seniors only play three-round tournaments. But who knows he may make a splash this week at Augusta. He should have won in 1996. Instead it is one of the all-time great collapses (easy for me to say that if he had shot par in that final round he would have won, because I doubt I would break 120 there).
I never think it’s a foregone conlusion that Tiger will win. If I could put him on my team, I definitely would. But I wouldn’t bet the farm that he’d win.
I have Paddy on my team. For years I refused to include him because he always seemed to choke. But I started adding him last year and will continue to do so.
I hadn’t thought about Stenson. I’ll have to check his stats. And Kim’s as well.
Problem is, I have it at 10 right now. Not sure who I would kick off to add one of them. Maybe J.B. Holmes.
According to Stewart Cink’s Twitter updates, players are limiting their practice rounds this week because of the weather. Apparently one can develop bad habits in cold weather.
And how long have they played the TPC?
The dogwoods and azaleas will be a wonder sight for us!
Anyone know the odds for Villegas? He’d be my high-stakes pick.
Tiger won’t pay well, but he’ll probably win.
So Stewart Cink Twitters???
Now that keeping up with the times.
He certainly has the game to be in the mix on Sunday, especially upstairs!!!
Oh, Stewie is definitley on my team. Was last year too. Wasn’t enough to help me when unfortunately. But I still consider him a dark horse at the Masters. And I like my dark horses.
Good going chap. I forgot about Camilo!!!
I figure his odds are around 10-1 or so.....
Snow’s heading this way now. Temps in the 30’s.....
sigh
WHO DAT?
It came up on a search for Kelly Tilghman images.
Nevrmind!
Our pool is pick 10. 7 best scores count. And pick a tie breaker score.
Can’t pick Tiger, Mickelson, or Garcia (top 3 in World Rankings).
I’m back up to 11 right now and can’t decide who to cut:
Geoff Ogilvy
Paddy Harrington
Kenny Perry
Zach Johnson
Stewart Cink
Goosen
JB Holmes
Rory McIlroy
Robert Karlsson
Paul Casey
Villegas
Tiebreaker = -8
Right now I’m thinking of taking Karlsson off to keep Villegas.
Look for a Woods-Mickelson pairing on Sunday. Phil still has it in him to once again handle Augusta.
interesting.....74 posts and no Phil Mickelson mention
sunday will see Phil and Tiger battling for the jacket.
