Doing her best to manage a smile, a frail Farrah Fawcett arrives home in Los Angeles after cancer treatment in Germany. The 62-year-old actress has been battling intestinal cancer for two years, at one time being given the all-clear. But the 'terrorist' inside her body, as she calls it, has returned with a vengeance. Still battling: Farrah Fawcett arrives at Los Angeles international airport after a flight from Germany Still battling: Farrah Fawcett arrives at Los Angeles international airport after a flight from Germany In a red woolly hat and dark sunglasses, the actress best known for her role in the 1970s TV series Charlie's Angels was pale and weak as she was wheeled out at the airport.

She has been flying to and from Frankfurt for 18 months, where she is said to be having experimental stem cell therapy, unavailable in the U.S. Over the last few months, Miss Fawcett has been based at home in Burbank, California, where her on-off partner Ryan O' Neal, 67, has been helping to care for her. The couple have a 24-year-old son, Redmond.

The most harrowing moments of Miss Fawcett's cancer treatment have been filmed for a TV documentary, A Wing And A Prayer. Speaking about her decision to take part she has said: 'As much as I would have liked to keep my cancer private, I have a certain responsibility to those fighting their own fights who may benefit about learning from mine.'

"I distinctly remember that the initial reports about her illness referred to as breast cancer, not intestinal."

I believe Kate Jackson is a breast cancer survivor.

Kate Jackson and Jacyln Smith beat breast cancer.

And, I always thought Jacyln was the most beautiful of the 3 beauties.

Very sad. I can’t believe she is 62. She caused a scandal in our family home. My om was upset cause my little bro had her picture on his door. I can remember it like it was yesterday.

My now 42 year old daughter had “Farrah Fawcett hair.”

I always thought Jaclyn Smith was the best looking one of the bunch, and she loyally stayed with the show until the end. Jaclyn still looks as good as she did back then.

She was an absolute beauty back then . . . so beautiful that the feminazis got all over her about being so feminine. So, unfortunately, she paid her dues to those creeps by being in films where she was getting set fire to, beaten up, raped, etc. and began to look like a punching bag.

Where Hollywood should have celebrated her beauty by starring her in costume dramas so her beauty could be enjoyed, she lowered herself to self-effacing victim-of-violence movies.

I, however, will remember her as one of the true beauties.

Didn’t mean to sound insensitive. Just wondering why such a high incidence in such a small group. 100%? WTH? I think the national number is something like 30% of people will get cancer sometime during their life, and much of THAT is among the elderly.

I disagree. I think she took those roles (no one forced her), so she could show her actual acting abilities, which she did very well. She was not just a pretty face, she was a real actress. Kudos for her. Farrah was trashed for so long, and she proved herself.

Exactly my point . . . she could have been a marvelous actress and not have to be the victim in all those violent films. Are you suggesting that she could not be a good actress in an upbeat comedy or costume drama where she could also be admired? She was trashed for a long time . . . too bad she let Hollyweird cover her with scars, blood, and bruise makeup.

Pictures of Farrah Fawcett in a wheelchair have caused a recent tabloid feeding frenzy.

And in a new interview, Farrah took aim at the photographers following her every move as she continues her battle against cancer.

“I just didn’t want to be photographed in a wheelchair, which is what they’re always trying to get,” Farrah said. “That just pisses me off, okay? It makes me mad.”

Outraged over becoming paparazzi prey, Farrah – who was first diagnosed with anal cancer in 2006 — has been fighting back against the often-invasive tactics, which she believes are detrimental to her already fragile health.

“Stress is what feeds your cancer. Stress is what gives you cancer and then there’s the paparazzi giving you stress,” she added.

Two nights ago, Farrah, 62, turned the cameras on the overzealous photographers, filming them as they tried to get a shot of her at Los Angeles International Airport.

“Something has to be done. I think they have to be scared, which is what I said to them,” Farrah continued. “It’s like, come on — take your best shot.”

Producer: Farrah Fawcett Not Seeking ‘Desperate’ Medical Treatment In Germany

LOS ANGELES, Calif. —
Contrary to a report by a British tabloid, Farrah Fawcett did not say her final goodbyes to her loved ones before she headed to Germany for a last ditch medical treatment for her cancer.

While Fawcett is indeed in Germany, it was to shoot portions of her upcoming documentary.

The 62-year-old actress is currently in Germany because she’s filming her documentary and she is there to interview her doctors, Farrah’s documentary producer, Craig Nevius, told Access Hollywood.

According to the UK’s Sunday Mirror, the former “Charlie’s Angels” actress had flown to Germany for an “aggressive experimental treatment in a desperate attempt to live.”

The Mirror also claimed Fawcett dismissed all of her staff before heading abroad.

However, Nevius said although she will be tested by her doctors while she’s there, the story about her preparing to die is not true. He also noted the actress will be headed back to the U.S. soon.

A good lesson: Even those people that we worship as gods and goddesses end up sick, old, decrepit, dead. It is the way of all flesh.

I read an article once about beauty; that the key to beautiful women is having a perfectly symmetrical face, and Jaclyn Smith has the most symmetrical face in show business. . .

Hollywood is a cruel industry. Like a parasite It feeds off your tremendous success when you are on top and it sucks you dry you on the way to the bottom. That's why few make successful, long career.

High stress jobs, high stress environment, unusual work hours, fad diets, unhealthy foods, smoking, drinking, high drug usage(both legal and illegal)unstable relationships, etc, etc.

Add on that actors usually come from broken families or have or strange backgrounds which they use acting as a way to escape reality(see how many actors/actresses have been abused while young.

Not said any apply to Farah but it wouldn't surprise me in the least she used cocaine(especially during her relationship with Ryan o Neal, known drug addict), use unusual methods to kept her weight down(coffee enemas, bulimia, binge eating, etc.). She was a smoker, had breast implants, and in general she seemed to lack self confidence and had an nervous personality.

Just my opinion. I could be wrong.

It took me decades to notice what a fake smile she has in that picture. I remember an interview where she said she was very cold (obvious) and miserable during the shoot.
