The NeXt shuttle mission is to repair the Hubble and extend its life expectancy.

What a great tool it has been and continues to be for exploring what is out there.

It would be cheaper to launch a new telescope, rather than send a Shuttle to fix the Hubble every time it needs to be repaired.

Photobucket

I love Hubble photos but I'm always worried they will find something really disturbing.

Thanks to our ‘lost in Congre$$’ space program policy, I agree.

I think this is officially the last trip tho too.. new scopes are in the works.

Potlatch, that was exactly my first impression this Sunday morning. You can sort of see the crown of thorns, and the three stars ... well... my goodness.

It was startling, wasn’t it? I didn’t know if I should post that but felt that others would see what I saw.

God's Creation holds surprising views in all directions. It needs only for us to look, and see, and be reminded of the glories of the Universe.

Fascinating similarities help us remember that we are part of a picture of limitless wonder and depth. This one sent shivers down my spine.

Thanks for posting this!

I think all ‘believers’ who view that see the same thing. HIS head is bowed, perhaps in sorrow at what He sees.

I view all the Hubble space pictures and am in awe of the beauty of them.
