36 Permanently layed off

Glasgow kentucky, 3/26/09 36 union employees were layed off at Carhartt distribution center. This cuts the work force in half at this time. Company employees will learn their fate on monday 3/30/09 . Thanks for the change Obama.

The law firm I worked for let 55 of us go on 02/26/2009. So I know where you are coming from.

mine let go 300 on 03/05/09 and 75 in Nov. 08. i was spared, thankfully.

The engineering firm where my friend works has cut a lot of staff to 4 day weeks or get laid off.

My entire position was eliminated. I have my resume done now, I am working on a cover letter.
It is harder than I thought.

My place of employment let almost 3,000 go in a reduction in force. I was fortunate not to be one of the ones let go. The workplace has not been the same since the RIF.
