The reason I also dropped out of membership is the amount of crap I used to get in my mailbox.
I figured they spent 99% of the time hitting me up for money, so that they couldn’t focus on anything more important.
Heck I get their mailings and I have just thought about joining ... never did.

Yes and then they will mail you every two weeks to renew your membership. Then the phone calls start coming in every other night.
I let my membership expire, though I’ve been meaning to sign up again.
The reason I let it expire was because they mailed me so much stuff, I just threw out everything they mailed me without reading it.

Same here, and in this household we were getting two of each of the mailings - once the magazines stopped I knew we forgot to re-sign.

To those of you complaining about NRA mailings I experienced the same thing over the years but a few years ago just emailed them and had them put me on the NoMail list which you can do and the mail stops. I renew online and again email at the same time to keep me on that list telling them I want no magazine, no nothing by mail and they do it.
Well I’ll sign up for a two year membership no prob. Also if anyone can freepmail me about how to get a gun license in Massachusetts I’d be grateful.
