In the event you have somehow missed the moral disintegration of our nation and the emergence of secular humanism and cultural relevance, then it would be a good idea for you to read Barzun’s From Dawn to Decadence. Then you will thank God for the Catholics and their insistence on healthy and responsible social and moral doctrine in the US, and as supported on this website, doctrines that save us from being just like the other godless heathen countries. And if you do not believe in any of that then all I can say is you are missing a whole lot of wonderful things in life and I hope the Lord will open your eyes.

There you will find a considerable number of longtime Freepers, all in good standing, who feel exactly as you do but who express their anti-Catholic disgust in slightly more subtle but nonetheless, extremely effective ways.

Try it. Instead of posting silly, vacuous vanities, you can dig up old stories about abusive priests, polygamous Popes, fraudulent bishops and murderous Inquisitors. What's more, you can post the same stories repeatedly so it becomes the gift which keeps on giving. You won't be disappointed.

Guaranteed to annoy Catholics and some will likely insult you for it and you can then complain to the Mods and have them banned!!

Why don't they go to the American cemetery in Normandy, France, and try telling all the American Catholics who died during the Normandy invasion in World War II, buried under the crosses, that they don't want to hear about the faith that shaped their values or the sanctity of the right to life. Or try reading Fulton Sheen's Communism and the Conscience of the West or Bill Buckleys' God and Man at Yale which sparked the modern conservative movement. Or try having any conservative candidate run for president in a national election without the backing of pro-life conservative Catholics.
