Finally a good performance.
Danny chooses a Rascal Flatt's song "That's what I was trying to do .." I didn't catch the title.
He doesn't play the widower card, but it's clear that he's singing this song to and about his wife. It makes his performance that much more powerful.
Paula: Allright, Danny! (sustained cheers from the audience) This is where you thrive.
Simon: If I'm being honest, I thought it was your best performance so far. I know we're only three in, but it was so much better than the first three. It was like two snails competing with a race horse.
Randy: I kinda feel like tonight's show starts right here. Cool thing about you, you can do this. All that emotion coming out of you. You rocked it!
Kara: You moved everyone in this room emotionally. You gave so much of your heart and soul. The goosebumps I was talking about? I had some of those!
