Huh. Well, Jonny, I think this may be the first time you and I have had a significant disagreement over a singer.

I DO agree with you that Adam had control over what he was doing and used his voice for all it was worth.

But that's the pity of it too. He has the ability to sing a "straight" song beautifully, but week after week he chooses to sing in this vampy, skanky, faggy way that obscures whatever redeeming elements he might bring.

Anyway, it's okay to disagree ;)

Oh, and tonight, one of my two-year-old twins (just turned 2 yesterday!) ran over to the TV as soon as he saw Seacrest yapping, and said, “Idow! Idow!”

Hey I fully agree with you there. When cd's first came out one of my first purchases was I got to see John Mayall a couple of times with other blues legends and they were great. I will always love Donavan's "Atlantis" plus Steppenwolf "Live" is always a great listen.

I really didn't think they would burn the save this early. I hated to see Alexis go I really like the sound of her voice. Whenever they do the save it will be controversial because next week 2 will have to go then it will be whoever was saved where they really worth saving to see that one of the two should have stayed. Because the next week it will be the 2 lowest vote totals that get the boot.

There could be a lot of negative fallout should they ever use the save. But if it is a fan favorite it could be a big positive. That is why I think back stories play to big of a role in this sometimes.
