I can't stand the fact that this man is the President of the United States, but he is. And they're the first family.

The younber one is 7. My 14 year old and his friends still go out and “play” on our swing set. Of course, most of the time they are playing laser tag and such and they hide behind it, etc. My 14 year old also puts his MP3 player on and swings on the swing when he’s bored. He likes getting outside.
When we have parties, all the kids are still on the swingset.
I think his youngest is 7 or 8, and this looks like a totally fun swingset for a 7 year old.

I absolutely do not mind paying for a swing set for the kids. The do not touch character of the WH wold be tough on the girls.

Might not be legal.
Many places require playground equipment to be fenced in and lockable.
Second, there is no approved filler under the equipment...2 feet of sand, gravel or other approved with a containment perimeter barrier.

These are not that expensive, and I think it would be appropriate for government dollars to be used, especially if it stays at the White House after Obama leaves office.

Is the Rainbow Swing Set Co. a subsidiary of Rainbow/PUSH Coalition?
I hope that it was union labor that put in that swingset. Did he take out a permit? Did they do Eco-Studies to see if that swingset would harm any animals?
Were the workers who installed it, legal? Was there bathroom facilities?
There are so many questions that need to be answered!

My point is, this is EXACTLY what has been going on with the Palin children! Except for them, it has been about govt paying for them traveling as a family to representational events.
Personally, he gets paid $400K and can build his own dam swing set. Buying toys for WH kids is not the job of or of benefit to the US taxpayer. And 5 will get you 10 his 5th grader is way too old for this junk, anyway.
