Ah, Swampy! You make my heart sing! Beautiful pics, as always. Raining here. 70 yest, dropping steadily and sposed to snow Mon—low in the low 20’s, mid 30’s for the high.
How come if they can come up with all these great meds, they can’t come up with something that doesn’t either make you fat or sleepy—or both! LOL

People may not know of the brown pelican's large wingspan of six and a half to seven feet. They can hover in the air with their large wings. White pelicans have even larger wingspans of nine to nine and a half feet, as large as the California condor.
The Pacific branch/race of the brown pelicans are a little bigger than the Atlantic branch. Those pictured below showing off their wingspans are of the Atlantic branch.
