Homo maybe but modern NO. Humans in flesh did not exist during this time period.

If there were indisputable means of dating a footprint that looked entirely like a modern human footprint at 1.5 millions years, you would devise some reason the results couldn't be accepted because of your preexisting assumptions of what could or could not have been making prints at that time.

You didn’t mention the thong, which you can deduce from the gait.

And he had bunions and plantar fasciatis.

And the long stride was from hopping through a field of hot volcanic ash.

“Ooh, ah, Ooooh, oh, oh, Oooh, ooh, AAAAHHHHH.

When that indisputable methodology of dating anything over a few thousand years is accomplished I guess we can chat.

agreed, and he/she/it was running, that's why the heels didn't touch the ground...

The best evidence is that hair color was brown

Which means that you're in an even more tenuous position than you thought.

Where’s the heel? That could be a slightly distorted paw print. (Or he could have been running like heck....)

It’s about 6,000 years old

Is that AC, BC, BCE, DC, ADD, or HDHC?

I'm so confused...

Yes there are definitely 4 toes including the big one which is also called a toe, not a foot thumb. I wonder if the one next to the big toe might have been injured?

Just looking at that print anyone can see it was a male with black bushy hair and dark skin, plus a mole on the left cheek. Oh, and the print was made on the week end.

Alley Oop on his weekly date with Oona.

Or King Guz?

I liked the old Alley Oop comic strip. Not many really funny ones around anymore. Wizard of ID too. But then I think the ‘55 Chevy was one of the best cars around.
