**Do you have to do texting to facebookers to tweet?**

I had thought that twitter was created for Facebookers whose texting wasn’t fast enough?

I hope this thing doesnt last 4 hours!

Same here! I have to get up early tomorrow AM...

Have you seen any of these movies? "Slumdog", "Doubt" and "The Reader" look interesting. I saw the play "Doubt" at a small theatre (TheaterWorks) in Hartford... it was good.

Clemenza: Do you have any film critiques? ;-)

Me too, Dolly... You’re threads were great! And, I’m sorry you’ve become so dis-illusioned.. although, I can understand it.

It really was an outstanding year for movies.. IMHO. Best in year. What a shame this site can’t enjoy it.

Hollywood has won more converts to America n the last 100 years than probably anything else.

Yeah, sometimes they’re wrong. But they win more fans for the USA than not,

The Reader is very nearly soft-porn, with an excruciatingly-unsatisfying ending, but is worth the Netflix rental just to see Kate Winslet's performance. Brilliant.

And now, Ladies and Gentlemen, it is time to honor the man for whose, uhm, anatomy part the Award was named, Harmon Oscar Nelson!

Come on, Tim...stick around.

I haven't seen any of these movies that are nominated.

We need someone like you who can critique them for REAL.

The rest of us will rag on the actors..

My aunt and uncle (who are very fussy about movies) saw Slumdog about a week ago and are still telling me I need to go see it.

Apparently it’s actually out on video this week (the big release to the US came right around the GG award thing last month, but it had been out earlier) so I think that’s why it’s out so soon while still being in theatres (but that’s just what I heard)

In any case, everyone who’s seen it has raved, but I trust my aunt and uncle...just haven’t managed to see it yet!
