My aunt and uncle (who are very fussy about movies) saw Slumdog about a week ago and are still telling me I need to go see it.

Apparently it’s actually out on video this week (the big release to the US came right around the GG award thing last month, but it had been out earlier) so I think that’s why it’s out so soon while still being in theatres (but that’s just what I heard)

In any case, everyone who’s seen it has raved, but I trust my aunt and uncle...just haven’t managed to see it yet!

have friends that were in that position... released a film direct to video, when it was picked up for Theatrical release in Europe, which caused it to be picked up for US Release.. who knows ....

Thanks! I really want to see "Slumdog"... my husband and I just haven't had the time on weekends. (We've also been snowed in a few times)

I don't know if Slumdog is anything like "Monsoon Wedding", but I loved that movie...
