Previously I compiled a list of the Ten Manliest Firearms. I noted that variations on the list were certainly acceptable, but still ran into a bunch of grief from non-men who were unable to read, nor to grasp that real men don't care if other real men disagree with them. Still, there are a LOT of guns out there, so I figured it was time to compile another list. You should own all of these guns before Zero takes office, and then buy more until he wets his pants and blubbers like the wuss he is. And if you don't like this list, compile your own, or wait for the next one.

“Can you imagine the poor bastards at Rourke’s Drift facing that crowd of about 2,000 and only 100 of them? Had to be terrifying. I thought the movie did a good job of conveying that feeling of terror. “
Actually, they were both pretty brave. Standing up to 1000 + Zulus when you out numbered 10 to one calls for real bravery. And charging an entrenched military force armed with rifles with nothing but a bull hide shield and a short stabbing spear is more than I would ever try.
I wish they had more on these forgotten wars in the movies and TV - like the Boer War and the French and Indian War, etc. All we get is the INTERMINABLE, UNENDING WW2 crap. Don’t get me wrong, I loved Saving Private Ryan and Band of Brothers, etc, but I have HAD it with re-runs of Hitler’s Bodyguard, the SS, etc. on TV’ history and military channels. Even WW1 would be a break!!!
WOW!!!!
THanks for that LINK!!!!!
They are an OK revolver, fascinating because of the “gas seal” mechanism, but as a practical arm, I would rather take an American 9 shot .22 revolver of the same barrel length any day of the week.
Underpowered, difficult to shoot double action, and slow to reload does not make a very practical revolver (unless it is mainly used to shoot helpless policial prisoners).
Excellent. I have an M91/30, the longer version, and love to shoot it.
I really should get a boomstick made before 1899. Good way of telling Gloomberg to stick it.
For every .600 Overkill you don’t get, I will.
:)
Masochistic tendencies huh? LOL
I like suppressors. Why go deaf having to shoot a perp?

What area is that?
She said she got a lesson for a boyfriend and he never came back. She did that for me she couldn’t get me to leave.
“I have the # 8, Colt Python .357 Magnum in the 6 inch version, polished stainless steel.
I’ll never forget the faces of two thugs that got to see the business end of it one night when they tried to run me off of a road.
“
I had one in 1986. A guy threating to kill his ex-girlfriend gave up once facing that monster. It was an extremely acurate revolver.
Apparently, “Passchendaele,” the site of a WWI battlefield in France, was released last year in Canada. Don’t know anything else, though.
Iron Maiden also wrote this song about the same battle.

No, I just really don’t like Communists/Marxists/Socialists/Stalinists.
As effective as the round would obviously be, are those morons really worth the cost of a round of ammo? These are lean times my friend, we must be cost efficient, wouldn’t you agree. A .308 or .223 are much cheaper and are just as effective.
#33 has a link to a “take your chances” 150 year old Martini.
I seem to be turning Russian, myself. LOL (cheaper to buy and shoot, usually). Have M44 carbine, 91/30 rifle, Nagant revolver.
I’ve got the Mauser. I’d like to get a Webley and a Nagant, too.
The area is Waukesha, WI. The range/gun shop is http://www.fletcherarms.com. Looks like a neat one stop shopping experience.
Decent price for a Nagant (plus shipping plus transfer fee if you don’t have C&R license)

Hope we see that here in the States.
If not, I will try to order the DVD.
Thanks for that information - and the song!!
