The pope issued an order to have their ranks disbanded and leaders arrested on Friday the 13th. Some say it is the origin of the superstition.

Friday the thirteenth was unlucky for the ancient Egyptians
as that is when all of their first born were slaughtered by
YHvH's angel of death. The 14th of Nisan( Passover ) begins at twilight of Friday the 13th.

I believe the King of France petitioned the Pope. The King of France didn’t have jurisdiction over the Templars because they where a holy order answering directly to the Pope.. lots of conspiracies as to why.. most likely, greed by the King of France who was indebted to the Templars.

In England if the baker was caught shorting someone, they could lose their business. So they started the habit of tossing in another roll to ensure that when the package got back to the manor, there would still be twelve.

I married Mr. Spotbust1 on a Friday the 13th. That was 16 years ago. So far he is behaving himself so I’ll keep him.
Also, my brother’s birthday is today.
All in all, Friday the 13th has been good to me too.
