From the beginning of time, young boys and young girls have had children and started families. It is not the age of the couple that is so out of whack. It is the common practice of flushing embryos down the toilet, because commitments are not desired.
They made an error in judgment, something children of this age do often. The parents also made mistakes, but that too is common among people. The true test of their character, regardless of their age, will be how they handle the next 15 years of this child's life.
If they do stay together, and make a life for themselves, will they have what it takes to raise this child so that their error in judgment is not repeated? If so, then they will not be grandparents in their late twenties.
It is my prayer that they can get beyond all the expected troubles and find the One true Person Who will help them survive in a world that is controlled by the evil one. Christ Jesus.

I glad they didn’thave an abortion, but all this stuff is increasingly depressing. Yesterday I read about a 13 yr old girl whose 13 or 14 yr old “boyfriend” was texting nude pictures of her to his buddies. What in the world is wrong with our families and societies that this seems to be just standard behavior?

The boys dad said, “He said it was the first time hed had sex, that he didnt know what he was doing and of the complications that could come.
I will talk to him again and it will be the birds and the bees talk. Some may say its too late but he needs to understand so there is not another baby.
I think it’s interesting that everyone is focused on the boy...what about the 15 year old girl...didn’t she have a clue how it worked? Wonder what she thought that monthly cycle thing was all about.
