http://www.JewishWorldReview.com | The backlash against against Nadya Suleman, the 33-year-old single mother of six who gave birth to octuplets on January 26th, has been fierce.

The reactions have ranged from reproach to ridicule to anger. On newspaper editorial pages, radio talk shows, and internet comment boards, Suleman has been derided as a mental case or a mercenary or worse. There has been no outpouring of gifts from corporate America — nothing like the lifetime supply of Pampers that Procter & Gamble provided when the McCaughey septuplets were born in 1997, or the 15-passenger van Chevrolet donated to their parents. Indeed, one talk-show host warned that his listeners would boycott any company that provided assistance to Suleman and her "freakish" brood.

“The reactions have ranged from reproach to ridicule to anger.”

Yet NBC continues yo flog this crazy horse/ Her PR people, as the vultures they are, try to put lipstick on it and someone has actually put up a Web Site for her at which donations are solicited with donation by Credit Card if one wishes!

I'm sure the tabloids will make this a profit making venture on top of what NBC has ‘Donated’ in order to shove this story down our throats.

Just damn.

The woman is an idiot. The doctor is a moral leper. But I have to admire her resolve to bear the babies rather than destroy the “excess” embryos.

The real moral problem is with the system (federal judges, for example) that have tried to overturn all moral norms to make the world comfortable for deviants and perverts.

The American Society of Reproductive Medicine recommends transferring no more than two fertilized embryos to a woman of Suleman's age, but when a patient insists on more, the physicians' hands may be tied.

Doctors will refuse cancer treatment to a patient if they believe the disease is "too far along." But they can't refuse to implant more embryos? If that's true, it makes no sense.
