9 years ago I met a lovely woman named Regina..she has brain cancer... 9 years later after an honarable fight she is prepared for death. She has battled her brain cancer for 12 years and now it is time for her to pass.
I wish I had something profound to say but all I can do right now is ask my fellow freepers to pray for Regina but mostly pray for her husband and children.

I could never have imagined how I would feel at this time. It always seemed such a long time off thanks to Regina always being so positive. I know for her to stop treatments means she knows it is time, however horrible that makes the rest of us feel.
Just say a prayer tonight for Regina to give her the time to go to the other side.
Thanks Lisa

I am so sorry to hear you lost your Mom this past week.
Regina is 44 with two teen children.
I have watched her over the years preparing her children for when she is gone. I know one of them shall rise to the occasion, the other I hope will also but will take him longer.

I know I've used this before but it sums up the way I feel about people here who need comfort. It's not meant to be trite.

Prayers for you in the loss of your mom. I lost my mom in July of 2007. I kiss a picture of her every morning and every night and tell her I love her.

Praying for you and your teens! May God hold you close.
May her passing be peaceful and a sign from God of what is to come.
