PLease pray for my daughter, Katie, who had a stroke and was rushed by helicopter to Cleveland for surgery. She is in her forties and has two children, one still in grade school. Since we live in different states, the information has been sketchy, but we do know that the stroke was a bad one.
Prayers for a full covery for Katie and continued blessings for her wonderfully supportive husband.
Dear Lord
Please protect and strengthen Kate, her wonderful husband and kitkat during this difficult time.
Amen
Prayers for Katie, for her doctors, and for her family.
Prayers for your daughter.
Praying for Katie’s continued improvement.
Still praying here. God bless.

Continued prayers for your daughter, and while I am not a doctor, I pretend to be one at the hospital where I work. Everything you are saying points to excellent chances for a full recovery. I will also keep you and Katie’s husband and children in my prayers. While Katie is most affected, it happened to your whole family and you all need prayer. Her recovery will take time and patience.
Your generous prayers are serving a dual purpose. I received the following email from my son in law today:
“Just read the Free Republic thing...had to bite down pretty hard...amazing response...couldn’t read them to Katie because I could not speak...just told her it got an amazing response...please thank everyone for us and ask them to continue to keep us in the good thoughts.”
He also said:
“ A rep from the rehab hospital [near home] is supposed to be here in the morning to evaluate her...she’ll likely make the pit stop there for a while before heading home...that will get her more intensive therapy then she could get at home with visiting therapists...and it will get her 24 hour oversight for her meds...etc...plus the place is six blocks from my office...she just needs to get the meds balanced and then we’ll be able to proceed from there.”
For anyone who didn’t know, Katie was taken by helicopter to another state. If they decide she’s well enough to return to a clinic near her home, it will make many things so much easier on her and her family.
God bless every one of you who has been praying for Katie. May all your kindness be returned to you in your own life.
(((Prayers continue, Kate)))
Will continue to lift all of you up in prayers.
I hope she is home very soon and making good progress.
Plese know prayers are being said.
FR recently had a prayer thread for my daughter and it gave me so much comfort, as well as all our prayers were answered!
My family will continue to pray for your daughter and her recovery. -Jan
Thank you so much for the update. Continued prayers for your dear daughter and her family! Hugs to you.
Prayers for all of you for the quick return of your granddaughter to be near her home and on her way to recovery.
I meant daughter not granddaughter. I was thinking of her children when I typed.
Prayer bump!
Oh, Jan, I’m so happy to hear that all your prayers were answered.
And, yes, you know the goodness of the Freepers. And now I know the goodness of you. God bless.
I am continuing prayers for your dear daughter, her husband and children, and for you. The road ahead may be long and difficult, but your daughter won’t be alone.
May Jesus, Mary, and Joseph be ever at her side and increase her healing power every day.
