You’re right. Best I’ve seen so far. Clean, simple lines in a complimentary color.

You mean you didnt like the cotton ball dress? I was wondering if she was trying to make a statement with that one. LOL, that was ridiculous! I thought she was trying to imitate Nancy Reagan, but she was too large for the sleek look.

Michelle deserves an ‘atta girl’ from the FR fashion police. Her hair was done and the dress was a good color and nice fit. Somebody got to her, LOL. She looks like she is hating every minute of this First Lady gig.
In all fairness (and to maintain our credibility!), we have to give credit where credit is due.
To: Canticle_of_Deborah
Yes, this is the first time I have seen her in something that looked appropriate and fit her nicely. Maybe she has finally hired some fashion advisors, or called up the What Not To Wear people.
But Obama looks like he is saying "Hey, this isn't in my pay grade." And, truly, usually there are others on hand to seat the first lady, so I don't know why he was holding her chair.

Nice dress for a change but Michelle has no waistline. She should stay away from dresses with belts.
