Good evening everyone.
Statism continues to run amok in Washington.
The O administration is set to soon unveil a Big Bank Bank Bailout...more debt onto debt for as far as we can see.
But a ray of hope: there are hints that some Dems as well as the Rs in the Senate have qualms about the Depression & Huge Deficit Act of 2009 which passed the House last week.
So we shall see.
Meanwhile we can have a lottery: how many Executive Orders will the new president sign THIS week??
I wonder how many other Presidents wrote an op-ed. Can anyone help me?
Got a text from my son who said it is 37 degrees this morning!! Must be chilly your way too! Hope your brought some warm clothes with you along with your shorts.
Oh ya.......Very chilly here! Thermometer is reading 41. We’re near the water, so it’s always a little bit warmer than the mainland, except in the summer, when we’re a little cooler.
It’s supposed to be 66 tomorrow and low 70s on Saturday.
Skies are clear, and it’s sunny, which is a good thing.

C goes to adoption hearings starting in May, I can't wait until I can post his picture (this is short for getting someone to post it for me) so all can see. I have a strong felling the kids will go after one more, D wants a little girl, suits me, I am all for it.
It is COLD here this morning, to get up to the 50’s today and cold tonight, in the 20’s, it is up to 30 here now and got to admit, this global warming is killing me and I can only guess how ya’ll are are fighting the cold in ‘yankee land’.
Just want to wish all a happy day, a blessed day, a safe one, and be sure to smile and say ‘good morning’ to a stranger, it could make their day.

These headlines all sound like the articles are worth reading. I’m going to do just that when I come home from the dentist to take my mind off the numbed jaw. Sorta like banging my head against the wall......it feels so good when I stop. : )

You're not alone in wishing for our pubs to get going and fight the dems. There are signs that our phone calls are getting them reved up....they want to be re-elected, you know....

FLORIDA COURT SETS ATHEIST HOLY DAY
In Florida, an Atheist created a case against the upcoming Easter and Passover holy days. He hired an attorney to bring a discrimination case against Christians, Jews and observances of their holy days. The argument was that it was unfair that atheists had no such recognized days.
The case was brought before a judge. After listening to the passionate presentation by the lawyer, the judge banged his gavel declaring, “Case dismissed!”
The lawyer immediately stood objecting to the ruling saying, “Your honor, how can you possibly dismiss this case? The Christians have Christmas, Easter and others. The Jews have Passover, Yom Kippur and Hanukkah, yet my client and all other atheists have no such holidays.”
The judge leaned forward in his chair saying, “But you do. Your client, counsel, is woefully ignorant.” The lawyer said, “Your Honor, we are unaware of any special observance or holiday for atheists.”
The judge said, “The calendar says April 1st is April Fools Day. Psalm 14:1 states , ‘The fool says in his heart, there is no God. ‘ Thus, it is the opinion of this court, that if your client says there is no God, then he is a fool. Therefore, April 1st is his day. Court is adjourned.”
You gotta love a Judge that knows his scripture!

Good reading in those articles. The dems are still calling for a new civility in DC, I see. If they had shown some toward President Bush and his ideas, we’d have an example to follow.
And O wants to find a replacement phrase for War on Terror? That made up MY mind.......I’ll always say War on Terror.
