Good evening everyone.
Statism continues to run amok in Washington.
The O administration is set to soon unveil a Big Bank Bank Bailout...more debt onto debt for as far as we can see.
But a ray of hope: there are hints that some Dems as well as the Rs in the Senate have qualms about the Depression & Huge Deficit Act of 2009 which passed the House last week.
So we shall see.
Meanwhile we can have a lottery: how many Executive Orders will the new president sign THIS week??
20 miles north of you it is MUCH more than flurrying. We have about 9” on new white stuff since yesterday. That is atop the couple feet from past month
This is getting very old - my driveway is a disaster
Hope all are doing well & surviving winter & the RATS in charge. Not sure which is worse(well, yes I am)
Dogs love this snow & dont mind the cold. Putting off for 2 hours taking them out (bad mommy)
My cast off since past Friday. Still very limited use but nice to type with two hands & soak EVERYTHING in the long baths I love.
Have a great HUMP day everyone!
It’s cool and dry up here too. We’re about 17 inches short of rain.
Yikes! But Good news (((Dolly))) on your cast...now take it easy and be careful. 2 friends recently fell on their front porches/driveways and got bunged up.

Mom is still so very confused. I’m anxious to hear what the dr. thinks about her mental state.
I so appreciate your prayers.
Oh brrrrr. I hope you can stay inside today.
No more cast - yea!
Thanks for the links. So much better than watching the MSM news.
Sorry to read about your mom kassie, I hope the doctor has some good input for you and interventions that can be tried.
My mil is also still hospitalized, although getting better. I’m almost certain she’ll be diagnosed with CHF although they are resuming testing today and we should know more definitively by tonight or tomorrow.
Her spirits are good, although this would be a whole new kettle of fish for them to deal with and try to manage once she’s home.
Good morning everybody.
Keeping her in my prayers. Mom has CHF and usually is managed nicely. She takes Lasix for it.
Yes, I hope that can be the only thing required as well.
It’s just that she can’t be ignoring it when she starts getting short of breath or froggy in her upper respiratory area and let that go. When she does that is when she gets really bad and terribly winded etc. and then decides it’s time to go to the doctor. And ends up hospitalized with oxygen, respiratory treatments, IV lasix etc.
Besides, that kind of stress is really rough on the heart.
Wheezing is a sign of CHF also. Mom was hospitalized for CHF this past Oct. All this time, NO one told me to weigh her every day and if she gained more than 3 pounds in 2 days she was to be seen by a dr. or that if I notice high pitched wheezing, call the dr. Now I know this I weigh her daily and listen for the wheezing.
Yep, that’s all the managing part of CHF. MIL will do well with the weighing etc, but I have to get her to realize she can’t deny or minimize symptoms she’s starting to have or she’ll get into real trouble.
We were lucky this time that she didn’t awake at midnight so short of breath. They are twenty miles from the doctor or hospital so we don’t need a middle of the night crisis. In fact, we don’t need any crisis at all.
:^)

Stossel's piece is excellent.
I like this:
..... Last week, the Cato Institute ran a full-page newspaper ad signed by more than 200 economists, including Nobel laureates stating:
"We the undersigned do not believe that more government spending is a way to improve economic performance. More government spending by Hoover and Roosevelt did not pull the United States economy out of the Great Depression in the 1930s. More government spending did not solve Japan's 'lost decade' in the 1990s ... Lower tax rates and a reduction in the burden of government are the best ways of using fiscal policy to boost growth."
Great news about your cast, Dolly. Please, take it easy!
Talk to you tomorrow.

zero signed the Children's Health Insurance Program bill. It will include 4 million more children.
I wonder how many illegals are included in this bill! *sigh*
Also, zero wants to cancel 77 oil leases in Utah.
He is insane with power!
Yikes, Toby. That’s cold for your area. Stay warm.
