My cat KNOWS he is in trouble. He is meaner than a striped snake!!!

You should see that little brat slinking around my destroyed portable greenhouse.

I still love him. But I am mad at him right now!!!!

An adorable story (well for the cat... for the plants it’s more of an assualt story). I love my cat, even though she’ll look at you sniff you, lick you, and then promptly taste you. (or sometimes she just skips all the other steps and just try to eat you) But she give the best stories cause (at least four which involve falling or almost falling through the celling.) I hope you and your “viking kitty” have many more years (which will be easier if you can figure out how to save your seedlings of course :D)

LOL! That’s ALL cats! :)

Sorry for your misfortune. I’m glad you could save a few! :)

My fathers cat brings him live prey so that he can teach dad how to hunt.
The rotten cat thinks we are funny looking if defective cats.
Conjure, if you will, the mental image of an entire household at three in the morning chasing a live rabbit around the kitchen with the cat gleefully herding the frightened lepun invader back at the scrambling frantic humans.

We have a house full of cats .... we’re never surprised at what they destroy! Glad you have a good attitude about this!

Your cat was doing you a favor. Give him a reward. Most tomatoes are hybrids, and most hybrid seeds don't grow into the same type of plant they came from. Its likely the flavor was due to the vine ripening, not the variety, anyway. Try to get the name of the tomato from the seller and then buy that seed, if you really want the same tomato.

I have 5 Shih tzu dogs & 4 cats. The Siamese loves to mess with the dogs. They will chase him down the hall & all around the house. When he has had enough fun, he turns around and attacks them. They all take off running in all directions. This usually happens in the middle of the night too. I woke up this morning to find my antique honey crock in pieces on the floor. One of my brat cats did it & they all went into hiding.

Every year my mom complains about her cat rolling on all her young starts in her vegetable garden. My big complaint is how all it seems I do every day is open and close doors for my cats. They seem to always wait until I sit down and am working on my laptop.

But then they do something wonderful, like a cool acrobatic stunt, or rub against your leg when you are feeling low. I have a male cat that is nearly 20 years old and is literally on his last legs. I know and I believe he knows that his time is near. He is pressed right up against me right now as I type.

Proving once again that while dogs have owners, cats have servants.

If there isn’t a photo-required rule for pets yet, there ought to be.

Nothing about cats to post. I despise them, the wife loves them, therefore I have cats.
I never bought a cat. They just showed up as kittens on the farm with moms eaten by coyotes. The first one, now twelve, I didn't pay any attention to and wouldn't pet. So she adopted me as a challenge. Every night she has to snuggle under my chin in the crook of my arm to go to sleep. Every stinking night.
If I roll over she walks around my head on the pillow and back down to nuzzle me under the chin. I have to pet her to settle her down again on my bicep. She waits for me at night and if I stay up she comes and finds me to meow until I go to bed.

But, I didn't write to talk about cats. I wanted to talk tomatoes. If the tomatoes you are starting came from greenhouse grown ones, more than likely they are a hybrid and won't grow true to type. Do you know if they are open pollinated or not? You might just be wasting your time. Try totallytomatoes.com for seeds. A packet isn't anything and you can try a bunch. Personally even though I grow different ones I keep coming back to Rutgers tomatoes. They do the best in my garden. What kind do you, and anyone else on the thread, grow?
