Love is like the wild rose-briar, 
Friendship like the holly-tree— 
The holly is dark when the rose-briar blooms 
But which will bloom most constantly? 

The wild-rose briar is sweet in the spring, 
Its summer blossoms scent the air; 
Yet wait till winter comes again 
And who will call the wild-briar fair? 

Then scorn the silly rose-wreath now 
And deck thee with the holly's sheen, 
That when December blights thy brow 
He may still leave thy garland green.

Don’t you ever worry one second! You did all a human being could do and still take care of your own personal stuff, including that precious little Marissa! She has to come first. You have never had anything to apologize for, dear!
Take a deep breath and relax.....take a little nap whenever you can. I have to do that now. Then I have to go upstairs and clean up my bedroom...clothes, etc. too much!

LOL. Thanks. I wish it was an original, but that was taken from a sign on a van in Florida that someone photographed and posted on facebook. It expresses my sentiments exactly! :-)

I agree with what jaycee said. No one, I'm sure, expects you to be able to respond to everyone, everyday. Even if you didn't have a family to care for, it would still be nearly impossible.

Real life always takes precedence. Socializing at Amy's Place is what we do when real life gives us some spare time. :-)
