Voice as silky as warm butter. Great song. Thx.

Me? Still working. Still paying the bills. Still got the house. Still love my wife and kids and family and God. Life is good. Starting to question the country as it is currently constituted tho.

Let's see. What else? Oh. We lost our Border Collie since we last spoke. And Christy the dwarf hamster was buried by the family in the side yard on a very cold, snowy night in December. However, Izzy, our Jack Russell has given more than enough love and energy to fill some of the voids. I'll tell you, out of all the pets I have had in my 4 plus decades on this earth I was truly blessed to find her as a companion. The friendship that little hairball shares with my family is special.

Hmmm. What else? Oh. I'm thankful my cousin is back from Afghan tour and my Marine nephew is finished with his Iraq tour. That's it. Up to speed.

Billie, that Song is Lovely, and I'm using Firefox Browser Today, and the Song Opened in a Box on the Screen that said it was from Domania. I've never had one Open like that before; it was Neat. My Regular, Favorite Browser, Opera, Opened it in Real Player when I Tried it. 'Dita, Possibly Real Player would Open it for you.

Wow, that's great, Kuds. Lots of things going on.

Me, well, just about the same.... boring, LOL!

I work and work and not much free time left. I do spend my free time reading or playing tennis whenever I get the chance. I also like playing squash and whatever other activity comes along.

I eat pizza sometimes and even have a couple of beers hehehe, a glass of wine sometimes. Not bad.

My 2 dogs, Charlie and Beanz are doing great. My fish (I got 6 now) are big, my hamster died last year. I didn't get another one. And I got a snake (2 years old).

That's about it. LOL. I told ya... boring.

Gotta say nighty night now.

See you soon, Kuds!

Dave, I saw that on the news last night. That little thing was so pitiful with his little paws burning him. He is doing well now and was introduced to a new friend and they said that they were now inseparable. Innocent animals tug at the heartstrings.

(WET) Good morning to All!

Trying to catch up on this beautiful thread full of beautiful images, words & fun!

Scrambling to get ready to leave town for a few days to visit my brother..He was written & directed a play to be presented Sat night at a Mystery Dinner Supper Club..

Going with red air once again for Valentine's day as I have for many years. Get various kits ..Loreal, Clairol etc & experienment. It is always fun to see the result.. ranging from Great to "should I wear a bag on my head for 6 weeks"

Fortunately Permanent hair color is NOT permanent but lasts at most 2 months & most often about 3-4 weeks.

Dont do Mahogany, Burgundy or Gothic colors.. more of the strawberry blond & "sunshine" red types. The boldest I ever went was copper one year & actually got a lot of raves on it.

Josy & Toby will be at their home away from home. A Home style boarding situation. Big fenced yard, doggie door from the Pet room(with sofa, TV, etc).. the dogs have run of house when someone is there & when no one is home are in the pet room which is very large.

The owners are former animal trainers at Sea World. He ran unsuccessfully for mayor of his city last election. He has a good job however as general manager of the Lowes Building supply store.

Learning From Lincoln
In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. —Proverbs 3:6

The day before his 52nd birthday, Abraham Lincoln left Springfield, Illinois, to become President of the United States. With the threat of civil war looming, he said goodbye to the friends and neighbors who had come to see him off. “I now leave,” he told them, “not knowing when, or whether ever, I may return, with a task before me greater than that which rested upon Washington. Without the assistance of the Divine Being who ever attended him, I cannot succeed. With that assistance I cannot fail. Trusting in Him who can go with me, and remain with you, and be everywhere for good, let us confidently hope that all will yet be well. To His care commending you, as I hope in your prayers you will commend me, I bid you an affectionate farewell.”

Lincoln’s reliance on God for guidance and strength reflects the instruction of Solomon: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths” (Prov. 3:5-6).

On this 200th anniversary of Lincoln’s birth, we celebrate his kindness, integrity, and courage. And we can also learn from him how to face a daunting future with confident hope in the Lord.

Into His hands I lay the fears that haunt me,
The dread of future ills that may befall;
Into His hands I lay the doubts that taunt me,
And rest securely, trusting Him for all. —Christiansen

Living without trust in God is like driving in the fog.
