Where were you born Mr. Obama? This was the question raised in an article by Diana West, a columnist for the Washington Times on Dec. 20, 2008. In her article, she attempted to summarize the background of the Obama birth certificate controversy. This article should be of primary interest to all U.S. citizens because our Constitution requires that our president must be a natural-born citizen of the U.S. This raises the question: Is Mr. Obama a natural-born citizen of the U.S.? None of the information provided to date answers this question. With all the investigative agencies in this country and the ever-nosy media, nobody has been able to secure a copy of the original Obama birth certificate.
What does Mr. Obama's original birth certificate say? Why hasn't Mr. Obama authorized the release of his original birth certificate and put an end to all these questions; unless of course, he has something to hide? Diana West goes on to say, and I agree, that it is nothing less than good citizenship to seek and verify that Mr. Obama is a natural-born U.S. citizen since our elites and the mainstream media failed to bring this important matter to its extremely simple resolution long ago. Instead, we the people only have online access to an Obama document known as a Certification of Live Birth which is a computer generated short form not even accepted by the Hawaii Department of Home Land as adequate verification of Hawaiian identity. The Department of Home Land requires information that is found only on the long original Certification of Live Birth or long form. That still leaves us with the question: Are you a natural-born U.S. citizen Mr. Obama? We will know the answer only when Mr. Obama releases his original birth certificate to the proper authorities. Failure to do so will only create a questionable suspicious aura around this entire matter and leave the voters wondering just who they voted for in the first place.

He isn’t otherwise that birth certificate wouldn’t be so hard to show.
If there was any meat to this and if it was as easy to show as some on the blogosphere claim, Hilary’s opposition researchers would have used it to destroy him to clear the Hildabeast’s path to the democrat nomination. I don’t think that they are so incompetent as to miss it and I don’t think the pro-Clinton elements of the liberal media didn’t look into this.
Were there more to go on the conservative media would have turned up the heat on this and Republican operatives would have dug deep and used it when it became clear that McLame was going down (which was early on). I’d love to believe it but I think people are really grasping at straws. This ship has already sailed.

I agree!!! When someone is hiding something, they have something to hide.
It doesn’t matter any more. Even if it’s proven in the next couple of months that he wasn’t born here, he would never be removed - I can’t even imagine what would happen in this country if that were to happen.

The media sure is making a big deal of this oath of office thing. It’s almost like they’re trying to prove how concerned he is about adhering to our “imperfect” constitution.
I disagree! The thugs who riot in the streets don’t run this country. Also, the hype for Obama is being blown way out of proportion by the media.
I think it should be repeated that The Hawaii Dept of Home Land does not accept the Certification of Live Birth as proof of a Hawaiian birth. They require the long form, for reasons such as we have given on Obama.
Has anyone heard if the cases in front of the SCOTUS have been put back or are they still in the dissapeared file?
I don’t think any of these law suits will amount to much. So far they have been swatted back like Greg Oden swatting back a basketball in the rare occasion he’s healthy and can stand up and play. (Biden: “STAND UP GREG!”
Assuming this is part of the BIG FIX in getting this socialist con artist into office, it will take the bravery and illegal leaking of OBAMA’s real BC by a HAwaii employee that wants the truth out. Don’t bet for that to happen.
MSNBC said the reason he retook the oath was because of all the talk on the blogosphere and that “this administration wants no doubt as to its legitimacy to linger”.
ummmmmm..then why not spend the $12 for a real birth certificate copy and put this to rest.
Seriously, he will get the Supreme Court Chief Justice to re-administer the oath but won’t spend $12 bucks to end multiple USSC cases? The issue may be “nutty” but then so is the refusal to spend 12 bucks to end it.
I would rather see The Constitution upheld, even if the result is rioting by 0bama's faction. In the long run, the Country will suffer much more under a Usurper, especially if it is proven that he is.
Hillary is probably the one who dug this up when she realized that her nomination as president was in jeopardy. She confronted the Messiah about it and got the highest ranking cabinet position in his administration.
Hillary doesn’t like to lose, and she’s capable of anything.
Maybe Obama is concerned about taking a “perjured oath” and flubbed it up intentially? Sources say he didn’t take the Oath with the bible the second time.
Or, Obama can’t get it right with the simpliest of tasks. What will he do when the pressure is on?

He hired every person Hillary would have hired into his administration, and gave her a position more suited than the presidency to the Clinton's current mode of taking huge amounts of money from foreign entities*.
I'm not sure she lost, from her point of view.
And if she has convinced The 0ne that she knows what's on that paper in the vault and is keeping quiet, that fact will have a lot more leverage with him as president than if he were a senator and she were president.
*And when Bill's foreign fundraising came up at her confirmation hearing, the Senate said, we don't want Bill to keep accepting foreign donations into his library fund, she basically said, into the library fund? OK, that won't happen!
