Obozo list. It should be revised and published to make freepers aware of the movie, music, tv, and celebrity choices.
1. Stephen Spielberg 2. David Geffen 3. Jeffrey Katzenberg 4. Barbra Streisand 5. Tom Hanks 6. Anne Hathaway 7. Demi Moore 8. Ashton Kutcher 9. Leonard DiCaprio 10. Matt Damon 11. Sean Puff Daddy Combs 12. Beyonce 13. Jennifer Aniston 14. Robert Redford 15. Whoopi Goldberg 16. Kate Winslet 17. Emma Thompson 18. Dustin Hoffman 19. Adam Sandler 20. Sean Penn 21. Madonna 22. Will Smith 23. Brad Pitt
The last movie I watched at a theater was “The Passion of Christ”. Hollywood scum will not get my money.
Will do! Thanks!
Wow, that’s an easy list to boycott.
Brad Pitt went to my high school. He was a pinhead then, too.
Can we make exception to the rule if the movie with Anne Hathaway or Kate Winslet contains full-frontal nudity?
Count me in- I watched Passion of the Christ and have an addiction for Bond movies. But that’s about it.
AAlso boycotting tv shows like’’24’’ because wartime traitor Jeanine Garafalo is on it.
Deny yourself the pleasure. Doesn’t bother me. I like to be entertained.
Good start. I would like to compile a list of these pieces of crap and others with their comments quoted, especially the ones who directed unprovoked insults at Governor Palin. Add no talents Chevy Chase and Brad Garrett to this (s)hit list.
how about anything done by ridley scott? (blade runner, alien, gladiator, black hawk down, etc.)
These days, I go to about one movie a year at most. I believe I’ve already been boycotting all of these people for a long time. I saw some of Spielberg’s earlier films, and I saw Barbra Steisand about a million years ago in some musical or other—or maybe I just heard her on the car radio occasionally while commuting—but I’ve never seen any of the others on film. Only on covers at the supermarket checkout counter, where they all seem to be perpetually fighting over divorces or babies.
I'd suggest that there be a pay cap for every single person you list.
Why should Sean Penn, for instance, make many millions of dollars in a year?
I'm sure that there are many assistant producers who work on his movies who do not make even one million dollars on a film with Sean Penn in it.
So isn't Sean Penn, for instance, a bit like the CEO of a corporation -- the guy who gets lots of money while the "little guys" get so much less? Where is the outrage on the Left about THIS situation? Shouldn't Barney Frank and Chuck Schumer -- who clamor for caps on CEO pay -- devoteo some time and attention to this gross inequality of pay that exists in Hollywood?
And what about all those films that don't do well at the Box Office? Shouldn't the actors in THEM -- especially the well-paid actors -- be forced to give up some of THEIR compensation when a film is a failure?
How is it, by the way, that some of these rich actors are able to afford private jets (and the FUEL to run them!) that will carry them from LA to DC for the Inauguration? What about all the poor assistance editors and assistant producers who, because of the GREED of the actors, aren't even able to afford to buy a coach ticket to DC? Doesn't anybody care about the "little guys" in Hollywood?
My Vote's for Obama (if I could vote) ...by Michael Moore
Friends,
I don't get to vote for President this primary season. I live in Michigan. The party leaders (both here and in D.C.) couldn't get their act together, and thus our votes will not be counted.
So, if you live in Pennsylvania, can you do me a favor? Will you please cast my vote -- and yours -- on Tuesday for Senator Barack Obama?

Michael Moore (quote), from his website, April 14, 2004...
"The Iraqis who have risen up against the occupation are not 'insurgents' or 'terrorists' or 'The Enemy.' They are the REVOLUTION, the Minutemen, and their numbers will grow -- and they will win. Get it, Mr. Bush?"
[actual quote from Michael Moore (2004). It still appears on his website]

The Communist Party USA (CPUSA):
"We are a party of unity in action. We are an integral part of every struggle and movement for change to eliminate poverty and joblessness, against racism and for full equality. We are participants, initiators and leaders of every movement to make life better now and much better in a socialist future." Yeah, so they supported an oppressive dictator, like the Repubs and Democrats haven't? The CP is still around, has apologized for that whole Stalin thing, and has a quickly growing youth section.

I’m no fan of Comradette Garofalo, but I’m still watching “24”.
Please do. We need a comprehensive list. The lefties have shunned and ridiculed conservatives. It’s time for the Empire To Strike Back.
you probably got the two worst pictures of the two.
how about keeping a list of new release movies and their associated lib-factor?
hollywood/distribution houses make their money in the first 2-4 weeks from release. after that, the cinema gets some of the ticket sales. if we just avoided ALL movies for 3 weeks after release, that would hurt the hollywood libs while not hurting the local cinema owners as much
actually... thinking about this... i like this a lot. if we all went after 3 weeks (if at all), then the cinema would still be making money from selling the goodies to those seeing the 3 week old movies. they’d have a 3 week hiccup initially, but after that it’d be ok.
The only reason I watched it was because a coworker of my wife let us borrow it. He kept raving how funny and great a movie it was. I was severely sickened by it and could not find one shred of humor in it. That is, if you think gross sexually deviant morally depraved behavior is funny, then it must have been funny. They also got in several deep, cutting insults on Conservative principles.
So, to all the actors on this list, I'm sure they will be there for the great inaugural orgy in Washington. So, who cares? I will never watch one of their movies again.
Well, I’ll certainly make that exception. Same goes for Jennifer Aniston. Some things just transcend politics.
