Deal reached over Marylin Monroe photos

A US legal fight over seven nude photographs of Marilyn Monroe taken six weeks before her death has been settled amicably, lawyers have said. The images were taken by photographer Bert Stern at the Bel Air Hotel in Los Angeles in 1962. Mr Stern sued three photographers for $1.7m (£1.2m) last year as he initially believed the pictures had been stolen after lending them to a magazine.

That the facination with Monroe still exists to this day is a testimony to her impact on our culture as a whole.
I still say the single best Playboy centerfold layout ever was that first one, with MM.
All the others are just pale knockoffs of the original.

Pretty sure that was right after she sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to JFK. And I think that dress was just auctioned off this past year.

Pretty sure that was right after she sang Happy Birthday to JFK. And I think that dress was just auctioned off this past year. From what I hear, it was "off" without an auction when Marilyn wore it that night.
