Lovely portrait of Ladyinred. I would like to have heard what she thought of the fourth judge. I’m sure she would have been diplomatic about it, whatever she thought. Sigh.
Dunno if I’ll be here much for the first few shows ... I HATE the audition phase. The crappy auditions and the pathetic auditions drive me right up a wall. Then there’s always some really good people who get the golden ticket and just disappear after that, which also drives me up a wall, wondering where they disappeared to. So I think I may mostly wait for Hollywood Week. (Well, as much as I actually get to participate at all, that is! Our twins are 22 mos now and WHAT a handful! LOL!)
So, I’m ready for tomorrow night, though.... AI, party on, dude! Rock on, most excellent Freepers! :)

Show really rots. Judges are competing with contestants in drama. Think I’ll tape and fast forward.
The ONLY girls who were ANY GOOD AT ALL are, in order of
quality: Alexis, Tatiana and Jackie.
Of these, the only one I can see in the top 10 down the line is Alexis. The majority of the girls did a pretty good job
of bumping themselves off right quick.
The only guys who -—ditto-—were any good at all
Danny (good, but Simon shrewdly shot down
the overhype of the other 3)

Of these the only one I can see in the top 10 is Danny.
NO ONE on either gender side showed enough to really get
excited about, say, on the level of Bo Bice, or Carly Smithson, or David Cook, or even Clay Aiken. Most of these
were seasoned performers, and it showed. NO ONE projected real confidence, or range last night.
The next Idol may well have to come from the remaining 24.
That new lady on the shore is a ding bat and ruins the commenatary part for me, I hope they get rid of her for next years round.
