Good evening, and welcome to the new week's thread.
P-E Obama must find a replacement for Bill Richardson, Sec-Commerce designate, who withdrew his name Sunday.
Israel continues its incursions and attacks on Palestinian terrorists, AKA Hamas, in Gaza.
And many of us regroup after a busy season with Family and Friends in December.
Breitbart’s Big Hollywood?
What is that?
Breitbart.com is a news sight. A very good news sight. He used to work for Drudge and many times Drudges news stories link to his sight now. Big Hollywood is a platform for conservative Hollywood types to express their views.
Cool. I’ll have to make that a regular part of my reading. I am so glad Scott Baio is a conservative. I have always enjoyed (what I’ve seen) his work.
Hey!
Where are you today?
Our flight is routed through Denver. We’ll be on the ground for just a little while to change planes.
Some of todays articles are not exactly the best, but this is just the first day and Andrew Breitbart is challenging the conservatives in Hollywood to come forth and make themselves known.
I enjoyed Orson Bean’s article, because it reminded me of the Hollywood I loved, and which is no more.
I called the office of Mike Duncan (figuring I might as well go to the top). Of course I didn’t get to talk to him, but got some sort of Uraiah Heep clerk who, when I complained about the anti-Bush resolution, told me “It isn’t a done deal. The members could vote on it either way.”
I told him it was a disgrace that it was even being proposed, and I wanted off the mailing list. And I gave him my name and phone number, although I doubt he wrote it down.
Then I called membership to get my name taken off their list and told them that all of my money is going to go to the BUSH LIBRARY.
The only time these guys show any fighting skills is when they knife President Bush in the back. I despise what ingrates and cowards make up the RNC. I have better things to do with my money.
#102 - Hahahahaha, you are soooo funny!
Jem!
Just got home. Was at work all day. Hope your plane change went smoothly!
As am I. It has to be in my genes.
No, not today. On the 17th.
The thought just occurred to me: IN ABOUT 18 DAYS I MIGHT BE 60 FEET UNDER. Whoo Hoo!
Yes, but do you have to verbalize in the morning? Hubby isn’t a morning person, but when he does get up, he thinks that we need to converse! Imagine that!
When I get up, I do NOT want to talk to ANYBODY for at least two hours.
Boy! He gets really mad when I say “shhhh!” LOL!
I'll try to link the Breitbart site...
Crazy day here....exercised fine, so that was a good start to the day...
But then the computer went bonkers....later, mid-afternoon, I was trying to be alert to the possiblity of ice, but....making a turn, slid into a sign, and did some damage to the lower right side of my car. I think I demolished the sign:-))
Oh well, I avoided hitting another car nearby, and the damage won't be tooooo costly...
On top of that, a certain person..(NOT my husband) ...I deal with regularly was NOT very helpful or considerate.
The ice kept me from going to chorus rehearsal tonite, and may keep me from going up to C. to the Art museum tomorrow, as I'd hoped to do...
Hope y'alls days were better...
Oh, what a bummer. I’m glad no other person was involved in that slide.
Nope, we’re not traveling yet. We’ll leave on the 17th and arrive on the 20th. Big sigh.
Thank you for the links.
I'm listening to Mark Levin discuss the great Fredrich Hayek's work...Goodnight.
So he is free as a bird until Jan. 17.
Katie's in town visiting friends; he's going to surprise her!!:-)
The ice is terrible here, too. Lots of people slipping and falling. Walking is even more dangerous than driving in these parts.
Good night everyone.
