Ed Hale of Plains Radio has secured a copy of the Dunham/Obama divorce decree as promised. He has registered this at the courthouse and has turned the document over to lawyers who are reported to be happy and enthused over the contents.
This is the first page. This is all that can be divulged at this time as those who have seen the decree are sworn to silence. You may hear information about it tonight on Ed's plainsradio show.
Your post even states that “...Obama was working for the Developing Communities group.”
The way I interpret the second paragraph is that Obama asked for a reference from McKnight and later hired Gamaliel as a quid pro quo.
And this, “...he had been the director of a Gamaliel affiliate.” I assume that's the Developing Communities group.
I notice that Gamaliel identifies Obama as a former organizer. It appears they too are trying to create a relationship that isn't really there.
Remember, Obama “consulted” to many leftist organizations, teaching them the skills of a community organizer (rabble rouser).
I think you're trying to make a link that's not there.
Outside of the fact that Gamaliel is another of hundreds of leftist organizations, why is this important?

That Gamaliel Connection paper adds to the thinking that Harvard played the role as a finishing school. The stories that have come out about Barry's past are a mixture of declared ambition (I'm skeptical, did he think he had the where-withal?) and meandering behavior (ah, the peace-corp-volunteer mentality. Had it meself, long ago, doncha know), a wide spectrum. His writings have been praised... don't see it myself. He is said to be intelligent and a good speaker (puh-lease!). In my opinion, he got experience at Harvard dealing with intelligent people, or at least articulate people. Some of that was bound to rub off. And, of course, Harvard confers credentials. Has Barry ever given a reason for his ambition, a reason to seek the presidency, that isn't pure demagoguery?

I knew that I first read about Gamaliel on your site. I think that I was reading about Obama’s community organizing history and connection to Black Liberation theology. If you read about the Gamaliel foundation, you will see a direct connection to the tenets of liberation theology, the socialism and the apostle Paul, who Obama likes to reference.
I just went back and looked more closely at the site that I posted that excerpt from, the Gamaliel Foundation has really changed, or should I say expanded, from it’s original mission.
The information that I had read before the election must have been very old. I read about how they got the name Gamaliel and how Gamaliel was connected to Paul before Paul’s epiphany. Gamaliel was a Sadducee and advised the governing board of the Sadducees not to persecute Christians because if Christianity was not of God, it would die a natural death. Sadducees were socialists who did not believe in an after life.

I think that it is more than a co-incidence that Obama’s mama and Geithner’s father both worked for the Ford Foundation at the same time, and met on the job at least once, that is recorded. Now, I wonder if Geithner has any ties to William Ayres.

I’ll post it tomorrow, when I get a chance, week-ends are tough. It’s pretty straight forward, you just click on post and fill in the information. The one tricky part is when they ask you what forum you want it posted in, you have to go all the way down to the bottom of the page to find the apply button. Then, you do need to use html in the thread. You might want to give it a try, but I will do it tomorrow. I think that this is just to much to be a co-incidence.

I’m sorry to report that I am going to drop (for now) one investigation I’ve been working on which hasn’t turned up anything that I would recognize as important. I was digging into Social Work Education & related academic conferences that took place in NYC during 1981-83. I didn’t find enough bread crumbs to indicate whether or not BHO would have been attracted to any of these (events that would be billed as “must see”, or radicals of a celebrity nature) but the “required reading lists” published in syllabi (syllabuses?) for speakers that attend these types of conferences are very creepy (Alinsky, etc...). The sheer number of academic types (and schools, departments, programs) in place today gives me vertigo (the bad kind.)
