Just to let you two know ..... I had computer problems last night so not sure what today will bring.
I tried to download an unzip program and picked up both spyware and malware.
My Virus Checker said that forcing removal might make my computer crash so I left the stuff on here.
I will try to call my son later to ask him what I should do. After he tells me again that I should not download something without info on it, he will try to help me thru removing it. Oh well .... live and learn.

Katharine McPhee, but I couldnt stand her!No, she didn't impress me much, although I did like her rendition of "Black Horse and the Cherry Tree". I think I was one of the few who did though. LOL.
I am headed out to the mall and PetsMart. The dogs need some treats and I need a new pair of Uggs (one of JK's Christmas gifts to me). TTYL! :-)

Aw........man, bummer. What virus program do you use?

Awww, that's the cutest penguin 'gliding by on his ice skates'! Thanks, Meg. I fell in love with those penguins when Amy sent the picture to me a few months ago! Already had the 'dancing penguin gif' and it was a breeze putting it together!

Oh, no! I hope your son can get your pc cleaned up.
I have a simple little (free) unzip program that I've had for years and every time I get a new computer, I install it. It's quick and easy and I've never had ANY problems with spyware or malware. It's very small - called "Zip Exploder".
Maybe when you get everything cleaned up you might check into that one?

Thanks, yorkie. I had not seen that when it orginally aired. I was one of the ones who missed this gem.

Hmmmmmmm.........I’ve never heard of that one. But I am not that familiar with all the different virus programs. I use Norton. So far, it has done a good job of keeping my computer virus free.
To: Billie
I will check that out. At one time I had an unzip program but somewhere along the way, I lost it. Probably a couple of computers ago.
When I tried downloading last night, it downloaded the spyware and malware at the same time.

Today, don't be shy.
Tell others how much you love them.
And, tell them loudly - then run like heck!

Look for these - they're warm, cute, and wedge heels are so comfy. :)

I clicked to see what audition you were talking about, and I haven't seen it, but you made me curious enough to wait for it to download (4 minute YouTubes are painfully slow for dialup, but I do feel inclined to wait for some of them!)
I've never watched Britain's Got Talent, and for the record, I cannot STAND Simon Cowell. He is so dang full of Simon Cowell, I want to slap his smug face!
Anyway, thanks, yorkie. I have watched Paul Potts video numerous times, so will be anxious to see this little girl's. :)

Billie, I am so sorry that you have to wait so long for you tube clips. I wish we could speed it up for you.
Her name is Connie Talbot, and in this clip, she is six years old, and missing her front teeth. She is adorable! And her voice caused the lady judge to cry, while listening to this little angel.
I hope it is worth it for you.

Oh, I LIKE those!! Very cute boots!! But, I will probably get the same old ones I've been wearing every winter for the past 16 years....the Uggs Classic Ultra tall in black. They aren't as stylish, but they are wonderfully warm and cozy and my bootcut jeans work well with them. I don't know how I would survive the winter without my Uggs.
They make so many cute styles now. I want one one pair of each! Not inexpensive, but they last for years.
I'm heading out the door. See ya!

I think it will be worth it - 57 seconds down - 4 minutes to go. Sigh. YouTubes buffer so much, I can’t really watch until they have ‘played’ to the end, and then they’re in my cache and I can listen to them in full and enjoy them. It’s how I have recorded and converted to mp3’s many of the songs I link with my opening graphics here. :)

I have to do the same thing, and I am on high-speed. I have to let the clip totally load - or it keeps stopping all the way through - and it is SUCH a nuisance!!

I wondered if many high speed users had very much buffering or if it connection was fast enough to stream seamlessly once it opened.
Checking my progress....I opened the link at approx 11:49 AM (CST) and at 12:04 I had 57 seconds of the 4 minute 57 seconds video downloaded. I'm now at the 2:31 mark, and I think the time is approx 12:26 PM. I still have over 2 minutes to go. :(
