That is so adorable! Cats sure can amuse us, can’t they?
That was quite a voice coming from that darling little girl. I should check out her page on My Space. Would I just google Skylyn? I may try that tomorrow. You were lucky to find that. I would love to transfer my VCR’s over to DVD’s. I bet my son could do that BUT I ask for so much...LOL~~
Been gone today and decided to get on here and answer some pings.....cause I ‘preciate them so much!
Very pretty, yorkie...thank you.
I truly thought that was a meaningful video for all women and some men would like it too. It just told what all happens in a group of women (like we are on F. R.,for instance)and the circle of friends we all have in our hometowns, etc. When they showed the picture of the gentleman, I thought it could have been her hubby who had passed on. I got a lot from it. I hate so bad that it took that long to download. I went through some of that when I was having so many computer problems and I don’t think I could wait like that either!!
I will be so happy when ‘one fine day you will get on here’ and tell us that AT&T has finally come through! We will have a party that day! And make a chocolate cake (like that one you showed yesterday.) What a cake. I wouldn’t make it because I can’t stand frosting that you have to beat that long. I have a candy recipe and I have to stand and stir for about 35 minutes while it cooks. It has to be just right after cooling and stirring to put out on wax paper with a teaspoon. I don’t like to fix it because I have had a couple of failures...but many successes. A might long post...sorry!
Remember Taylor’s funny and cute dancing on Idol. My whole family was rooting for him. We would call each other on the phone and think we would have all died if he hadn’t won...LOL...! You did good on the little dancing man!
Yeah, sure I was.....you wouldn’t touch it....noooo waaaay!
;o)
hahahahahaha....cute, LaDita! I didn’t get one....!
I use to love puzzles. Haven’t done any in quite a while.
I had a good friend and she kept a card table set up in her kitchen (in an out of the way place) and she kept a puzzle on it all the time that she was working. She did love them. My precious friend passed away and left me. She had diabetes since her 20’s and developed heart disease. I still miss her. I could write a book about her goodness.
Maybe I will have to get back into puzzles....when will I have time. I would have to give up the computer...LOL~~~~
Isn’t that cute? And she looks like she is really thinking that!
L. J., we have had cold, bitter weather but just short spurts of snow and ice that would last a half day, sometimes all day. But I did hear from a friend while ago and he said we were supposed to get snow Monday, Tuesday, maybe Wednesday. It said 5 or 6 inches and we can’t really trust that ‘cause they could change it by Sunday. We’ve been hoping we could get one beautiful snow.
I did post some pictures a while back when we would get those little skiffs (I call them) of snow. But it did make things pretty for several hours. Now you, you all GET SNOW!
I got snow. It was okay.
Then I got rain. That was okay too. I figured it would melt the snow.
But it didn't, 'cause then I got freeze!
.
So what I have now is a bicycle helmet all over my yard, with WD-40 sprayed on top of it, and I have to walk on it!
By the way, it's hard when you sit on it, too.
You are getting teased by snow. We are, too, but in a different way. LOL!
I thought you had a storm that stayed on the ground. Must’ve mistaken it with someone else.
Maybe next week. There is always hope. I hope we get a little warmup, it’s been an awfully cold month.
You got just enough to be pretty! Even if it didn’t stay.
Keep trying to photograph it.
Snow’s hard to photo but when you get a good shot it’s a beauty.
I thought the pic you posted with the shovel sticking up was a great picture. We have had several snows like the ones I just posted. I have a couple in my camera now that haven’t been transferred to my computer yet. I had all that computer trouble and forgot the camera. Oh, well, I’ll get them transferred sometime.
If we should get the snow expected this coming week, I will try to get a few photo’s.
Billie, I'm catching Up on the Thread and just Read your Post; your Dial-Up Sounds as Slow as mine. :( I have a Satellite Connection that I Use Most of the Time, (Faster than Dial-Up but Much Slower than DSL), but it's Very Rickety, and is Always Breaking Down, so then I Use the Dial-Up. The Satellite Connection does Allow me to Watch Videos, but they Buffer through the First Playing, Sometimes Pretty Badly. It will be Like a Paradise if DSL is ever Available in my Area!
