Hello All....still taking it easy today, just resting. Side is a little better but sitting in my desk chair is not as comfortable as my lazyboy...LOL!

I have viewed almost everything that was posted and of course, I loved everything as I always do! I am so behind that I was afraid to do individual posts as I could leave someone out.

I am sending a beautiful message to you all that one of my best friend’s daughters who lives in Chapel Hill; NC sent me yesterday. Every woman should read this and I do believe the gentlemen on here would appreciate it too. Thank you all for all the pretty things you’ve posted and the music is just wonderful. I hardly hear a song that I don’t love! (Meg, glad you’re back) (Billie,thank you for your lovely thread yesterday)(Amy, thank you for all you do)

I've decided to put bars on her windows. :) She has such an outgoing personality. She loves to talk and she loves people.

Anytime, we get in the car, she starts singing. She tells me that she is going to be a rock star. :) Yesterday she told me she wants to be a veterinarian.
Now I need to push that.

Whenever the Sunday School class performs for the church, she gets a solo part.

She does not seem to get stage fright. She walks right up to the microphone. She loves music. Lori sent me a graphic with music. After listening to it once, she started singing the verse. Yep .... she still sings. :)

I am sending a urgent prayer request in on this daily thread. Hope this is alright. Trussell & Kitty Mittens, I am pinging you here and if you wouldn't mind sending this to your prayer lists I would certainly appreciate it. My sister had a biopsy for breast cancer last week and has called and asked me to come over. She received a call on her answering machine to " call the surgeon" back and she is stressed. I am heading over in a hour to her house and together we will call and get the results of the biopsy. My heart is beating fast as I type this. We are very close and I am already in tears thinking of the " what if's".

Oops, I forgot to ping Lori earlier. (Hey Lori) Anyway, it seems like only yesterday we were coming back from the Columbus Zoo with Missy seranading us. She definately has talent.

I would encourage you to take her to musicals and have her get involved in those as school (I'm somewhat bias having majored in theater in college). Anyway we have been season subscribers to the Broadway Series in Columbus for over 15 years. When there is an age appropriate musical we've LOVED to take our friends daughters or my young niece who is now a junior in HS and HOOKED on musicals.

Have to run, hubby just finished "showblowing" a foot of snow!

It is great....a guilt free day off! :) Soon we'll be playing monopoly.

I couldn't wait for hillary to leave the senate, although definitely not this way. I guess Gillibrand is better than Carolyn Kennedy. She's a liberal though. Supposedly, she's considered a conservative democrat. Patterson appointed her so I doubt it.
