I’ve had that picture for a long time but it took me forever to find it. I had no idea what title I had used.

It is a clever contraption, isn’t it? Looks like an acceptable means of transportation.

Amy,
My knees are starting to act up like my moms did....made from the same mold! lol
She was very heavy at one time and then later in life she lost much weight and when she died she was quite trim...

I have gained far too much, I think from stress eating and of course, like you... I do enjoy the computer. I try to limit myself now but actually have to turn it off! If it is on...well... I just have to “ know what is going on, right”!!

Good Night!
Polly

Jaycee...

I love that song! It was so sweet. My hubby is here across the table from me “ setting up our senior citizen meds”!...when that song came on , he started singing it with a smile on his face. He grew up singing that song in the hills of Tennessee!

Thanks and now for SURE I am signing off and heading to bed.

Australia & New Zea land are dream vacations for me!

The pix are gorgeous & LOTR gave us all another BIG tease!

Thanks Meg for the beauty you share!

Happy Tuesday everyone

More snow on way - we still have a LOT ((foot or more) left over from past weather events. Having the wind chill ABOVE double digit below zero would be nice also!

Good Morning Meg,
I hope you are feeling really good today. :) You must be missing your raccoons. I hope they are back for visits with you again soon. There are a lot of birds at the feeder lately too. I keep seeing a Carolina Wren on the deck. They sing such great songs. What a loud voice for such a little bird. ;)

Good Morning Amy :)
How are you? I hope Marissa had a good weekend visiting. Booboo and I went to the movies. I'm not much for going to the movies but it was fun to take her. I wish you a lovely day!

Hi Billie
My daughter really enjoyed viewing your amazing sketches. My hubby did too. ;) I noticed she is attempting to sketch people more now. I have to look into art lessons. Did you ever take them? I can't tell you enough how we admire your talent. :)

Yes, that's the back yard with the deer. I can hear them walking in the woods when I take the dog out at night. Sometimes we see them at the feeder.

Prayer Circles
Everyone who exalts himself will be humbled. —Luke 18:14

Around the circle the 6th-grade girls went, taking turns praying for each other in the Bible-study group. “Father in heaven,” Anna prayed, “please help Tonya not to be so boy-crazy.” Tonya added with a giggle, “And help Anna to stop acting so horrible in school and bothering other kids.” Then Talia prayed, “Lord, help Tonya to listen to her mother instead of always talking back.”

Although the requests were real, the girls seemed to enjoy teasing their friends by pointing out their flaws in front of the others instead of caring about their need for God’s help. Their group leader reminded them about the seriousness of talking to almighty God and the importance of evaluating their own hearts.

If we use prayer to point out the faults of others while ignoring our own, we’re like the Pharisee in Jesus’ parable. He prayed, “God, I thank You that I am not like other men—extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector” (Luke 18:11). Instead, we’re to be like the man who asked God to be merciful to him, “a sinner” (v.13).

Let’s be careful not to let our prayers become a listing of others’ flaws. The kind of prayer God desires flows out of a humble evaluation of our own sinful hearts.

Lord, teach us how to pray aright,
Oh, lead us in Your way;
Humbly we bow in Your pure light;
Lord, teach us how to pray. —Anon.

The highest form of prayer comes from the depths of a humble heart.
