Good evening, MamaBear.
You missed Hugging Day yesterday, so .....
(((((((( Lori ))))))))
Oh, Kitty Mittens, I didn’t know about your MIL! I will say a prayer of praise and gratitude for God’s mercy in expertly guiding her surgeon’s hands. And I am sending you HUGS, as I know this is a stressful time for you and your husband. May God bless your mother-in-law as she recovers from her surgery.
Awwwwwwwwwww........you are so kind to say so. Thank you. :-)
Nite, LUV.
But, I think every day is Hugging Day at Amy's Place. So here's TEN from me....
I am rather glad GWB will (hopefully) soon be out of the MSM's cross-hairs, at long last! I suppose it is too much to hope that they will turn their viciousness towards Obama now. No, what am I saying? I am afraid their love affair with Obama has only just begun.
I am sure that he is thankful that he can walk out his front
door and not have mics stuck in his face!
He wants to take long walks, bring coffee to Laura in the mornings, work the land, write a book....he has purpose that doesn’t depend on the spotlight. I am glad for that for the two of them!
Well, I wish him and Laura well. They deserve a 'happily-ever-after'.

(((HUGS)))
((HUGS)))
I am better..Feel like I am on my way to recovery..I had been neglecting to take my allergy medicine daily and got all congested...with headache and nausea.
I just got to read your post. Isn’t it funny that most of the time kids in the same family are so different. Mine are so different it seems impossible. The main thing is they love each other (but they do get mad at each other occasionally) but it doesn’t last very long. I am so blessed.
I haven’t found the picture yet but I bet my son has it!
Yesterday I got an email from the ‘deer lover’ son and the title said “She could be mine”....in the body of the email he said “All I would have to do is say yes” and an attachment. It was a beautiful striped cat. He’s the one that just lost his 16 year old cat. He called me later and said he didn’t think he would take it. I could tell he wanted it but he just moved into his new house and bought two leather couches for his big den and he knows what they can do to furniture. His last two cats were de-clawed and they still ruined his ‘old’ couches. I can understand that can’t you? The guy who was trying to find it a home would give whoever adopted it $100.00 for starting expenses. My son said it was the sweetest cat! Sorry this is so long.....you know me! I thought of Meg and Dita! See ya’ll later!
I should have put your name on the post to GeeBee! I loved your deer pictures...they are so sweet. For some reason I feel God put them here maybe for two reasons. One of course would be for food, and also for non-hunters to love and enjoy!
They are so sweet looking, aren’t they?
Meg, remember when I had that awful sinus infection. The doctor sent antibiotics when I made a phone call to his office. But by the next Monday after taking all the medicine, I was worse so I had to go to his office and he prescribed that nose spray that started helping me right away. Mine lasted about 2-3 weeks total before I got the nose spray.
He also said he had just gotten over the same thing and he had my same symptoms. I didn’t feel like walking across the floor. I have a lot of sinus trouble with weather changes! Get well soon...I miss you!
Oh, how precious that is!
Very nice!
After you placed your food order at a popular fast food restaurant, the cashiers used to ask that famous question: Would you like to supersize that? In essence, they were asking the customers if they wanted more of what they were already getting.
In a similar way, when we come into Gods presence, I believe He asks us: Would you like to enlarge your understanding of Me today?
Isaiah had one such experience with God. Through a painful event in his life, Isaiah saw the Lord high and lifted up (Isa. 6:1). Through this encounter, God supersized Isaiahs understanding of His holiness. He saw Gods complete moral excellence that unifies His attributes.
God also enlarged Isaiahs realization of his own sin (v.5). This led to an expansion of his understanding of Gods complete forgiveness and cleansing (vv.6-7). Only when Isaiah understood the depth of his sin could he appreciate and accept forgiveness and cleansing from God. Finally, his encounter with God led to Isaiahs declaration of availability and commitment to reach out to others and to help them increase their understanding of God (vv.8-9).
Lets ask God to supersize our understanding of His greatness today.
