He is a doll, huh? Just reach in and grab him....he’s yours!

Don’t you love that yorkie? When a new member comes in, we give them an 8 by 10 copy with flowers around the edges, framed of course. Its a cute poem I think. “picking the flowers from other’s yards and learning to spit” always tickled me.

Had not seen this one....its cute though.

Make friends of my enemies and talk love, not war. If I make it past 90 then this may occur. Until then, I ain't forgetting.

I saw her in a Broadway car, The woman I might grow to be; I felt my lover look at her And then turn suddenly to me. Her hair was dull and drew no light, And yet its color was as mine; Her eyes were strangely like my eyes, Tho' love had never made them shine.
Her body was a thing grown thin, Hungry for love that never came; Her soul was frozen in the dark, Unwarmed forever by love's flame.
I felt my lover look at her And then turn suddenly to me His eyes were magic to defy The woman I shall never be.

Good morning, Billie. Thank you.
I agree about this being wonderful.
MamaBear took a Fish Hawk poem written for Amy's Place in 2005
and revived it with a new Opening Graphic.
The difference between the old graphics and the new is amazing.
Hope you are having a Terrific Tuursday!

YIKES, we're growing old today? I love that picture - it's the same one I used for the opening of "Grow Old With Me" a few weeks ago. I think it is such a sweet picture. :) "The Old Maid" - a bit sad. We can only hope that when we do grow old, we don't grow dull and without a light in our eyes.

Thanks for Your replies about my being behind.
Rest assured, catching up is a want to, not a feel as though I have to.
& I won’t be responding to everything as I explained the why nots/reasons, prior...and will also keep doing collective thanks etc...as well.
I enjoy responding and it helps that it is a perpetual monthly Thread...I have 28-31 days to catch up.lol!
I’m just speaking for myself not meant to be taken personally if the words used differ.
& I totally am fine with anyone else’s way to go about replying, and totally understand if/when/why they may not reply to everything either, not always gonna happen nor is it always possible.
No worries & I appriciate the friendship/concern/advise/encouaging words, but really I’m not stressing just explaining why I’m behind & I look forward to the catch up days, very much!:)
To return the savor to Others, we all get joy from looking through new pings and FReeps!!:)
I already know You agree even if we use different words & ways & days to go about doing that very thing. HUGS! & T Y!

The difference between the old graphics and the new is amazing.I have to agree wholeheartedly! But besides both of us having a few more years with lots of practice, there is another major difference and that is that we're not confined by a particular physical size (width and/or height) anymore!

Missed you use of that photo or I would have used another.
It’s a happy poem. Your eyes will never grow dull and you have too much love to be lonely.
