It’s a superstition. If I post on a certain trio of digits I have to post upside down right away in order to void the curse.
;o)
My snowman post came with the message..It is one I have had for years.
It is REALLY bad in AZ and CA, JC. Don’t know if it is affecting other states as much - but now the drug cartels are moving into AZ - and it is very frightening. I would love to ‘think’ and ‘post’ puppies and kittens and poetry all day, but every once in awhile - I must face what is happening.
My apologies to everyone for not posting happiness and warm fuzzies tonight. Tomorrow, I’ll keep my mouf shut - promise.
Okay .... I understand.
I would scream louder than you all have. I scream from here about what happens out there. Its on the news daily. Those people who run California and Arizona have a few screws loose it looks like. It is horrible about the illegals and what this darned country does for them and our own citizens are treated worse. No wonder they come and come. We give them anything they want. Makes my blood boil. Whats gonna change it? OBAMA? No way, it will get worse for sure.
Tomorrow I will keep my mouth shut too. :-(
Sometimes you need to vent!!!
It stays pent up inside because you are labeled a racist if you state your opinion!
I sure hope that none of you ladies will keep your mouths shut.....it needs to be said over and over. Everyone in the United States know what the problems are but no one is doing anything about the immigration problem!! Oh, my goodness, lets not hurt anyone’s feelings....just walk all over the citizens of the U.S. and make it comfortable for the illegals.
Scream it to the mountain-tops!
Well, I’m not a racist and I have my ‘freedom of speech’. What is right is right and what is wrong is wrong. We all need to use our ‘freedom of speech’ to speak the truth. They will tape our mouths if we let them. You know that saying “Don’t get me started?” LOL...now you all will be wanting me to shut up.
I will be a good girl...don’t worry!
Stop rewarding people who break our immigration laws..and stop this “safe city” bunk..enforce the laws of this land..now!
Amen, Meg.
California’s financial woes could be solved by simply by stopping all illegal alien funding.
I’ve never been known to be a PC person and I’m too old to change.
—the old guy
Political correctness has nearly ruined this country, Dave.
And I’m WAY too old to change...LOL! I am afraid our country has gone too far to turn back and with Obama coming in, its hard to tell where we’ll go. But its not going to be pretty.
Anyone here remember reading about Ellis Island? Why was it closed? It worked, and people from Ellis Island were proud to become citizens - no matter how long it took. They had to have a sponsor family, learn the language, be free of disease and have a job waiting.
And, why wasn’t our border sealed on 9-12-01? Lots of questions - no answers - even the politicians don’t know what happened to the billions of dollars allocated to close (and seal) our borders. People from many countries sneak in every day - many with ill-intent.
The illegal aliens now have more rights than citizens - and something is terribly wrong with that.
Free food (WIC and food stamps), subsidized housing, free medical care, free (and discounted) education, birthright citizenship, no taxes when paid under the table, not to mention disease and crime that is coming into this country - of course they will come. And we will pay.
JC, that little gum drop graphis is adorable! Thank you!
Awww ... Now that is what I call a SWEET graphic!
Goodnight, Jaycee. I just got Marissa to bed. She had homework to finish after AWANA and it took too long.
SWEET dreams .... see you tomorrow.
Does anyone come here via Ellis Island any more? I don’t think so. There are people who come here on a student visa and never leave. I wonder how many are here on expired visas.
I don’t see our elected officials making any efforts to stop this influx of illegals. This makes for a slim chance of getting our financial mess cleaned up.
